48F and sunny @ 17:00, heading to 36F for the overnight low. But calling for a high of near 60F (57F) for tomorrow. Good melting going on, on walkways and driveway ... lawn still mostly snow/ice covered though.

Refilled hopper, two sunflower tube, and deer feeder yesterday. Also three suet feeders.

Hawk took advantage of that this afternoon, keeping the squirrel population in check:

Saw a coon running across the back by the deer feeder shortly after I took that.

Thermostat fully set up and configured.

Plants watered.

Transcription finished.

Will head out and refill the feeders in here in a couple of minutes.

Just a little over 27 days until Spring !

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday ... (y)

something tells me you enjoy that JD seat time a lot (y)

actually since we are an international site, our friends from Down Under have different seasons
Northern and Southern hemisphere and summer/winters are reversed?
Is it late summer in Chile?

Is this when Doug tells us it's 120 in the shade? My memory was it gets mighty hot there.
Of course so does Death Valley in California. Great built in advertising for hvac contractors.
Buy a good one or die Ma'am. :sneaky:
Actually, this year hasn't been as hot as the previous couple. We have still had days where we have had to retire inside to the air-con but it cools down around 4.00 pm to the point where we can get some mowing or other outside work done before dark. We have very little twilight here unlike the southern states.
I'm still waiting on word for my flail mower parts. I'll email them a reminder today. Grass growth has slowed down as the rain has been scarce. Maybe one more mow for the season.
Temps have only reached 35 C (95 F) lately so not too bad.

Supposed to get to 30 tonight but it’s 31 now, so… 61 tomorrow they say.
Wonton soup and spring rolls for dinner tonight. FIL doesn’t like Chinese something about cats and wild onions, so he got a Whopper.
Might have to go down to Carolina one day, my 78 year old brother is still feuding with his neighbor over a fence on the property I sold last year. My brother is claiming 12’ that don’t belong to him. We did all this last year I thought.

Good morning, low temp is 24 and going down to 12 during the day. Wind N 16 gusting to 23 mph. Periods of snow last night, cloudy today and snow or ice pellets this evening and through Tuesday night. Total accumulation 15cm or more so that will translate to 15"+.

IF we get the snow then I will have something to do.

mostly, he moved up from down south a little bit north-west of Toronto. I am not going to say what nationality he is but he is not native born Canadian and came from a warm country where they don't get snow.

Have a good day all

Heading in to work in a couple hours for a meet & greet.... total waste of time, but ya gotta do what you gotta do...

54° for a LOW this morning, going for a forecast HIGH of 82° today. And then more freezing weather, rain, sleet, snow, etc. forecast after tomorrow. Crazy weather this year for north Texas.

29 going to 65. 🥵

Cleaned out the 7 bluebird boxes and made repairs. My wife had bought 3 boxes as a donation that were made of pine, a full 1" thick...primed and stained before putting them up a couple of years ago, but the roof on each has rotted, so made new rooftops for them from old scrap cedar shakes. All of them had bluebirds last year, and the ones I have seen recently are acting quite romantically.

good morning all
25 going up to 56, should be a nice sunny day

my morning is consumed by a trip to hospital, new heart wing at Doylestown hospital, where they will take out my implantable monitor.
Then tomorrow I go back and another group takes out my port which is nearby. Will be glad when both are done.

Bird, that sounds like some nice warm weather, enjoy

35 outside this AM. Heading to lower 60's Should be a real nice day.

Daffodils have popped out of the ground and look to be going strong.

This weekend I worked on the barn silo cleaning up the old rotted wood handing from the silage shoot. That was 60 feet in the air I will not do again. I managed to get all of it down without breaking anything on the barn or fence lines. All that prep work was in anticipation of hanging the owl box I built for the wife a while back. Only issue is that the box was too wide to fit into the silo. By two inches. Yeah? Did not think about that. So late yesterday I broke out the angle grinder and started to work on cutting the silage shoot to make it a little wider. Something about old concrete..... today, I hope to finish the job. LOL.

Too much stress.

Hope everyone has a good day and good start to the week.

These are finally available relatively close...
Bought one and it will be shipped to a local store for pick up this coming Friday (25th) ...we'll see if that happens.
If it does show up on time, it'll be just in time for the 9-10 inches of snow predicted for Thursday evening in to Friday

As you know, I have an older (3 years) non-self-propelled EGO snow blower. Not sure if I'll sell it, or just keep it

Better get my butt in gear to make a doctor's appointment...

Good Morning.
It’s 28 and going to twice that today in the sun.

Yesterday was a nice day as well, not as warm, but still a nice day.
Made decent progress in the hangar, then helped oldest son fish wires through finished walls for wall mounted TV’s and speakers.
I have a fair arsenal of wire fishing tools, from sash chain and conduit fish tapes, fiberglass rods and paracord. But a few years ago I got a Magnepull, and it really is a game changer. We had a few pulls on outside walls with fiberglass batting, and it was effortless.

Not sure what today will bring, but after today, it looks like I’m going to have to fly every day until the weekend, so whatever I get done this week will be today. First chore will be to load feed into the barn when my wife gets back from Agway.

Emily has her ups and downs (literally) but over all is doing better than expected.

24 early, 61 later, pretty sunny sky, looking like spring.
I’m going to do some outdoor stuff today while the weather is nice.
I don’t have to go to NC,thankfully my brother realized he’d been looking at the wrong line.

Gotta go to the drugstore, so I’d better get moving.

39°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 64° today. Rain expected sometime tomorrow, turning to snow on Wednesday and into Thursday.

All of the ice on the deck finally melted yesterday, just in time to get some more.

Pending business trip to Louisville on Thursday, already rescheduled from last week, is in danger of not happening again.

Wife made a pot of potato soup yesterday, and it may be the best potato soup I've ever eaten.

That magnapull is the cat’s meow.

Almost makes me want to cut a hole in the wall behind me to put an outlet in. Almost. But I ain’t got one.
The wall in the video was so simple you didn’t need one, but really cool.

Decided to take the day off. Slept in, until my wife needed me to get the old cat in carrier to go to vet. Something wrong with one eye. That cat is getting very $$$ lately.
And we are almost out of canned cat food which can’t be found.

No plans for today, probably work on taxes. Put a couple more things out for trash collection, to see if they will take it.
