Good Morning!!!! 47F @ 5:00AM. Sunny to partly cloudy. High 73F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Hope everything's OK with the MIA...

Split and loaded another pallet yesterday, using up all of the bucked wood in the process. Bucked another few trees. Seems like on the last one there was something in the wood that dulled both chainsaws in short order. Good excuse to quit for the day.

Thinking about going for a motorcycle ride today; it'll be the first of the year, very unusual for me.

Happy Easter! My orange bunny rolls taste good but I let them proof too long and they look like roadkill.

for such a good idea. Happy Easter Irv.
Roy, David/Sodamo and Ron have been here since the first few days. (I'm sure I missed someone)
Quite a few others came in not long afterwards.
Pretty remarkable actually.

got my fresh fruit salad made, having second cup of coffee, happy to sit and do nothing.

We must have had a cold night, it took two kicks to make an impression on the ice in the weather bucket this morning. The sun wasted no time though in making that history, by 8am it had erased all frost from the roof except for a white stripe hiding in the shadow of a woodburner flue pipe.

My wife found hot cross buns for breakfast that had been hiding in a corner of the freezer for months, maybe years. A few turns in the micowave and they were almost as tasty as one freshly baked.

LS, hope you get some improvement soon.

Bike ride first thing 50 miles, then fish club had a 2 hour kid fish

Really admire your stamina, after 50 miles on a bike most of us would be taking a nap instead of spending the next 2 hours helping kids out of tangles.

I was about to post some photos, however the tbn server is not happy, it suggests I "try again later" - ok, unlike me, the day is still young

Good morning and HAPPY EASTER!

The low only hit 38 last night, hopefully will stay above freezing now. High today around 80. Next couple of days have high winds forecasted as some weak storms pass by.... more blowing dirt...

I was able to gain a couple extra hours of sleep last night.... hopefully it will be a trend and will continue..... Thanks for the well wishes and prayers, I really need them to get past this.

Drew, sorry that your plants didn't make it. No real big landscaping plans on our horizon..... Last year, we got 6 Muscari plants to see if they could survive our harsh climate.... They came back really strong already. So, we got 12 more to go around the base of a tree. The wifey will have to plant them, that's about the max she will be able to do, with her bad back / arthritis.

Lots of plans are on hold.....for now...

Chuck roast in the smoker along with carrots and baby red potatoes....

I was thinking about laminating my vaccine card but I just read that we shouldn't. I guess it is possible that there may be more shots to go on the card. I see that you can buy plastic envelopes from Amazon that protect the card and let you hang it from a lanyard or a badge clip.

My daughter is playing guitar in church today.

Having a spiral sliced ham, but leaving the brown sugar glaze off. Baked potatoes and roasted asparagus. Maybe a homemade cake topped with fresh raspberries later.

60F and sunny @ 11:50 ... a beautiful morning.

Supposedly headed up to 66F ... which I suspect we'll beat.

Red-bellied woodpecker on the nugget feeder a bit ago.

Currently have a cat rodeo going on here on the desktop.

Did a massive white worm feeding yesterday, we'll see if that gets anyone in the mood. Need to refresh the banana worm cultures with the yeast Amazon delivered the other day.

Seems like today might be a good day to put the pallet forks on the Kubota and pull the MMM out of the barn and get it ready for the season. Won't be long now.

Also unload those free golf cart tires and rims out of the van.
