57° earlier, up to 60° now. Beautiful morning. Unfortunately, WV got really bad flooding yesterday. Saw facebook videos of water half up on houses, firehouse flooded, aweful mess.

Ed, they do have pressure canners for induction, but induction tops are glass tops, so you probably have induction.

Good morning all. 51 going to 81 with no rain. Lazy day today, I hope, we will see. I am beginning to see that I need to start reading Good Morning more than once a day. By the time I read a days worth of posts I forget what I have read. Had to take notes.
Rip Glad your electric is fixed. When I was about 20 I had a bad ground on the shop and everything acted very strange. Had to turn on the drill pres to get the welder to work, ect. The electrician came and tore my welder apart and said that was the problem. Got new welder same problem. finely found it my self. Bad ground on wires coming into the shop.
Buckeye, Do the make pressure canner's that work with induction? Thanks for bringing this up. We are thinking about a new stove as we both hate the glass top one that came with the house.

Almost the same thoughts regarding tires went through my mind yesterday as well, Ron. Why should I rotate tires when that service is included with the tires I purchased from Costco? I also suspect a leak in the driver side front, as it was down 15 psi when I checked it earlier this week, and free repairs are included as well.
Cosgrove's long term forecasts are calling for above average temperatures through the middle of August for much of California, so there'll be no break from the 100F + temps we've been seeing for the last couple of weeks. These next two electric bills are gonna be whoppers!
I noticed yesterday that the refund on the BBQ grill has been credited back to the Visa account, so I can start my search over again. When I called for the fifth or sixth time to check on shipping status earlier this week, the "supervisor" I spoke with was quite short and rude, and jumped at the chance to cancel the order when I threatened to do so if they couldn't forward me some proof that the grill had actually shipped. If you like wasting time and abusive conversation, then JoesAV.com should be right up your alley!
I did manage to get photos taken of some of the motorcycle parts I was gifted with after my friend's wife driven garage clean out a few weeks back, and used them to post a couple of ads to get rid of them. There's still one more box to go, and I'll hopefully get to that today as well.
And got the latest MacOS system updates installed via the Combo Updater yesterday. No more App Store upgrades for me; the last one required downloading the Combo anyway, and with the Combo I can avoid waiting for a gigabyte download for each machine.
I'd hoped to talk to the friend that sold me the old BMW one more time, but I received an email from him yesterday letting me know he's "not doing well at all". We've all been expecting it, and he's given his cancer a good fight; I just hope he goes peacefully and without a lot of pain. H3ll of a thing when you live that long only to be rewarded with that kind of end.
Hope everyone enjoys the day. The supply of them is not unlimited!

The low this morning was 46*, yesterday high was 88*. Today is going to be about the same.
Didn't do much yesterday. Meant my daughter in a town about 70 miles away to give back the cat and dog we have been watching. A neighbor had pick me up hydraulic coupler for my snowblower that was wrong size. Exchange that and pick up a hose for it. Had lunch with them and come home. That was most of the day. Going up to feed the neighbors horses this morning. Not sure what I'll do the rest of the day.
