33 and going to a high of 55. Wind SE 8 mph. Barometer is falling and they are calling for thunderstorms for tonight and tomorrow. That puts the kibosh on my game plan for tomorrow.

Definitely, just google "air fried doughnut recipes".

I have noisy bathroom fans, are the ones you installed really quiet.

Will have to look up donuts. I bought a fry cutter yrs ago, and never used it. Didn't want to mess with the grease.

New fan is good bit quieter, need a sound app to measure the difference.
I have an old Panasonic oscillating fan that has been great, best I've ever had.

Need to pour first cup of coffee. 64° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 79° with lots of sun. Had a good time at World of Outlaw races. Sure is a dirty place. Did not get home until after midnight. Lots of patio time and NASCAR today.
Good Morning All.

Good Morning! 40F @ 6:30AM. Sunny. High 59F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.

Cosgrove sounds like he's predicting a rather wet spring here in Northern California, with bands of showers coming through every few days as has been the case lately. And that could continue through the month of May, well past the usual dry out date. I noticed yesterday that the purplish blue lupines are starting to come up in the meadow, just about the time I'm starting to think I should give everything a haircut so it doesn't get away from me like last year. There are a few spots up near the house that for sure will get some attention with the push mower today or tomorrow; just have to see how dry it gets. Only one little shower around noon yesterday, then pretty partly cloudy skies and a nice sunset. Should be another pretty day today.

Got most of the dust and dirt (and yet more mouse poop) cleaned out of the instrument housing, so it should be ready to go back together today if it's dry enough.

Found the usual clog in the back gutter, along with a surprising amount of mud. I guess all the bare ground from the bulldozer work last summer put a lot of dust in the air, and these winter rains are washing it off the roof and into the downspouts. Somewhere around here I have one of those shepherd's cane shaped hose attachments, and if I can find it I'll give the gutters a good wash.

The water softener is on the blink again, more than likely the head on the resin tank is mucked up with calcium deposits. I watched the tech take it apart last time, so today I'll have a shot at it myself. If that brings no joy it's back to the supplier, who threatened to replace it with a larger system as the one now seems unable to handle the very hard water here.

Seems like it's always sumthin', don't it Cajan?

Hope everyone has a nice, quiet Sunday...

Lots of changes over the last 6 months, wife and I purchased a water front home on lake Pocotopaug that looks like it will become our full time home some time in the future (sooner rather than later wife said) after 33 years in law enforcement I retired so far board out of my mind, now that warmer weather is here I can get out and do something have 2 yards to care for. Lost an uncle who was like a second father after the loss of my dad 30 years ago and 6 weeks later mom lost her fight to cancer. Helping my cousin who wants to sell he dads tractors 22 of then and 2 small JD dozers. My son and wife added a cute little baby boy last weekend and getting ready for my oldest daughters wedding in June.

SURPRISE!! Woke to big old white frost covered yard this morning, glad I hadn't planted anything. Got to around 34, going to 70 or so today with a lot less wind.
I mowed Wednesday for the first time. My grass isn't as green as Buckeye's yet, but it's growing.

Happy Palm Sunday!
