Got $30 for April. Agent says probably same for May and June.

I have a HP PC notebook bought in 2014 with Windows 8. Converted it to 10 when came out. Still works good. But kind of slow. Desktop was bought last year. It is fast and very responsive. It replaced a windows 7 PC. It still work but is very slow. Have 2 iPads and 2 iPhones. The Apple products have served me well. Just like my PC’s. The industry that worked in used PC for programing controls. I need to buy PC’s so I can afford to buy the Apple pads and phones.

Anyone getting a refund or discount on their car insurance because the covids has resulted in less driving and claims? I read on my company's website they are doing that soon, but got my bill a couple of weeks ago (due mid-June) and didn't see anything, yet.

I just got my refund check for $179, and they are reducing rates.

Discovered 3 of these critters under my deck. Good thing I didn’t run the string trimmer. IMG_4744.JPG

Phil, great truck!

RNG, nice idea about that tool box. I need to go back and read your first post to see why you cut that piece off.

On the topic of laptops/phones, it sounds like you guys love the Apples, and they sound nice. When I bought my mom here first smart phone, I got her an Apple iphone. But I've always used Windows and Android stuff and been happy. I'm typing this on my PC, a laptop handed down to me from my son...bought January, 2010. Our phones are Samsung, bought in 2014. I finally had to buy a new battery for mine last year ($15), but my wife's still using her original one.

I supposedly am getting 30% off all three cars, retroactive to March, in next billing. (State Farm)

Got $25 last month and $25 this month from insurance. I wish they would just give credit on their next bill because now I have to drive to the bank for a small deposit.

I tried that a few years ago and the “backup” are just too wide angle. I’d like to find one that just shows my forks or bucket.

Three things I noted.
1 - the color contrast or lack thereof, possible paint something.
2- my angle. Possibly move camera forward a bit. It would no longer be under the canopy, but maybe doable.
3 - glare caused by sun. Maybe more a shade over the lense?

I can't find the pictures but .. mine was mounted on a strong magnet, with a sheet metal sun shield around it, and a fairly long umbilical attaching it to a 9" color monitor in the cab. I could stick it on top of my grill guard, top frame of forks, or top of my bucket.

My focus was for pallet forks and the wide angle camera just didn't help anything. I dropped the project but, should probably do the research, to see if better cameras are now available.

The right camera, up on the grill guard .. would also help lining up to SSQA attachments too.

I like the one with the DRO. That DRO makes it worth 3 times the $900 the first guy is asking. Plus it has the tooling. He might want a pretty penny for it. I would stay away from the CNC for layman's work. Many are powering them with variable frequency drives to provide the power and change the rpm. I would love to have on in my barn. I have 2 at work, plus 3 CNC mills at my beck and call. Many Taiwan mills are decent for the price. Not as good as original, but parts can be had usually.

Kyle,

Appreciate your insights ... thanks !

Yeah ... I've looked at a few others as well ... depending on what it is, and what comes with it, they aren't necessarily looking to give them away that's for sure.

I would think you'd definitely be a candidate for one in your barn ... although I have no idea as to what the used equipment market is like down there.

Up here there seems to still be a good bit of it out there ... even after all the out-sourcing and off-shoring of the last however many years ... :(

RS, you need to look at gov't auctions. There is a place in Pennsylvania that is often selling equipment, most of it nice.

I believe you have mentioned that (government auctions) before, correct ?

I'll see if I can find it ...

Good evening all. 63F for the start, partly cloudy, calm wind. light wind day, clouds did build up some as did humidity, high temp was 84F. Watched chapel stream this morning, then into putter mode. Had some parts fall out of reel I was working on, 1 try at reassembly was not smooth so trashed it. Cleaned pole, got on of Dad's old reels and put line on it, now have 3 poles rigged + fly rod. Looking at live wells realized had plug and stand pipe reversed so fixed that, put wife bike in repair stand and put new battery in speedometer, need to lube front and back derailleurs, then adjust them. Did get nap in :)
Covid update: Cooke unchanged, Montague unchanged, Grayson up to 333 confirmed cases, 84 active cases.
Buckeye sounds like a nice evening, nice sunset.
Eric good to hear you are having such nice weather. Great story on the "instrument"
Roy glad you got the seat installed hope you able to get a good seat placement. Tying fishing knots remind me vision and dexterity are not what they used to be. :confused3:
Buppies never good to be late on taxes. :2cents:
Thomas I wish I could got to bed at 9:30!
Ron great pic, hope visit went well with other aunt.
Don good to hear your church is restarting meeting, no word yet on when chapel and choir will restart. Need potato pics
RNG I routinely get 10-15 years from computers, mostly high end Dells and small computer company in STL. The one I am typing on is about 10 years old and is on every day about 14 hour.
Mike just remember that was a BIG limb, nice pic grass looks good :)
RNG sounds like a good day.
Phil, nice retirement present.
Ray (gaproperty) welcome, is that a lake or ocean in background?
Ted, sorry about rain, hope you get generator transfer wired, glad projects went well
Drew, good to hear from you glad you getting help and great news from the Dr.
Kyle good luck resolving your computer problems.
RS sounds like a full day.
David you don't want to make Mr Back angry, he always has the last word. ;)
RS please use proper PPE when you get your mill, no watches, jewelry, safety rated lens side shield etc :2cents:
RNG that pic brings back memories, used to make 20 mm ammo boxes at work, especially the latch pieces.
catch up tomorrow
prayers for all especially Drew
stay safe and healthy.

Got $56 and $28 credits from USAA. Think they just adjust the bill.

Such a shame 24/7 coverage of protests/riots but barely a footnote about our awesome space launch and ISS docking.

So in 14 days will the news be dominated by Covid 19 out of control due to lack of guideline enforcement or will we be inundated with BS as to why it didn’t happen? Kinda hoping for 2nd scenario because if it turns out to be the first I doubt we can put genie back in the bottle.

RNG, sadly the front camera not as useful as anticipated. Have to put more thought into it.

It's not like there's a set of instructions out there somewhere you can just follow and everything comes up roses, David. But you've shown yourself to be a very clever guy, and I'm very happy you're determined to get it "just right" and share your success with the rest of us not-so-enlightened.;)

I made it a point to catch the launch (but not the docking) ... actually brought tears to my eyes ...
