Good morning!!!!

got all my chores done. One more pass with the sprinkler in the flower garden, then a nap.
Not such a great experience this morning at local hospital getting labs drawn. 15 minutes all alone, no line, getting checked in. Senior employee acted like she didn't know how to work the computer. Then when I finally got to labs, spent another ten minutes at counter as they floundered through the paperwork.

Tech who drew my blood said Covid counts jumped because of test kits finally arriving. She said patients they had were seriously sick, common complaint was I've never had anything this bad. And then she told me they now think this stuff hit our area in November and wasn't understood or tested for. Of course they had no test kits then. Am wondering if this is why I was so horribly sick back then.

Mowed lawn for an hour, beautiful day out.

RNG, great tractor, good luck with it. I almost bought that model 6 years ago but couldn't justify cost of backhoe. So bought L5740 instead.

Bird, big congrats to you and your bride.

Happy anniversary to the Birds!

RNG, before I DO anything I will make sure I have a back up copy of the existing file. I have had to straighten out too many hydraulic par files that were mangled by the unknowing. My advice to most techs when I am talking to them about settings is to look but don稚 touch. A lot of them listen.......but you always find a couple that know it all......

Forgot to mention this, my sister who has cv19 takes my dad to his VA appointments. She got a call from the local VA who told her that if my dad doesn’t see them by the end of May he will lose his VA benefits. That makes no sense.

A mostly cloudy 34ºF with some rain and snowflakes in the air and evidence of rain/snow on the deck. A mostly sunny 39ºF presently and I anticipate a mostly sunny afternoon with temperatures approaching 60ºF. A beautiful day shaping up.

RNG- Congratulations and my condolences about the unknown damage.

Ted- Nice work, as always.

Randy- I hate those wet foot surprises. I am glad that it was a quick fix.

RonJH- I have never seen a Blue Grosbeak before. Nice 2nd flight congratulations. The technological advancements since the “Flying Cuisinart®” You have a very nice property.

Billy- We used to get both Pine and Red Breasted Grosbeaks. I have not seen any around here the past few years. I am hoping to see Indigo Buntings and Blue Birds around here soon.. Most of the native sparrow species are back and the Juncoes have “disappeared”.

Bird & Mrs. Bird- Congratulations on 55th wedding anniversary. I wish you both many more together in health and happiness.

David- Good luck with Sophie’s followup.

BEF- I am sorry to read about your Father’s VA problems.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

RNG, did not take long. DJI sent me a email this morning on the Mavic Air 2.

I got one from YouTube that Ian of London already has a video out on it. Apparently it's an all new model, sized half way between the Mini and the Pros. But it's supposed to have most if not all the Pro features. $900, $1000 for the combo pack. Don't think I'll be a buyer, as I'm still uneasy about losing a Mini @ $500, let alone this new one at twice that!

Wishing Mr.and Mrs. Bird many more trips around the sun hand in hand. :)

I’m willing to bet the enforcers of such a policy aren’t veterans.

Thomas, good decision to determine if BooBoo is actually BeaBea with cubs first before surprising them!

Indeed...after closer look at the tracks also finding the bed looks like to be 1.5 to 2.5 year old.

I remember reading somewhere that the only way you can lose VA benefits is if you are incarcerated. Pretty sure there's no "policy" in place that removes them because you didn't show up by a certain date. I'd consider reporting that to someone higher up the food chain than a local hospital clerk.

Are you sure you don't want any more snow? Those last pix were beautiful.

Ahhh there you go using that S word again. ;)
That's what my wife also said "beautiful" until I told her there least 2-3 works more not going into fields or the woods with tractor...I got the look. :(

I got a friend who works for VA down in DC, gonna send him an email.

Did unpack the drone and started charging batteries. Only got one ac adapter, but 2 usb cables and instructions show 2 ac adapters, one to charge battery other to charge controller. Battery charger holds 3 batteries, only charging 1 at a time apparently.

A friend of mine just brought his Mavic 2 out to the farm to learn to fly. That thing was amazing. 20 megapixel camera... I think he said 1500 bucks; I want one!

High made it up to 63F, mostly overcast but the sun managed to punch through a few times ... looks like it's trying right now.

Very little, if any rain so far ... maybe a little bit before I got up this morning.

Made the run to the grocery store and picked up - so that's done for the week. Only thing they came up short on was paper towels.

Continuing to build up the stock in the freezer.

Still have two "Hello Fresh" meals to cook ... may do one of those for dinner tonight ...
