Good morning to all! Low of 38, going up to 65. Partly / mostly cloudy. Had a brief thunderstorm last night, only enough rain to dampen everything. There is a greater chance of showers tomorrow.

RIP, nice setup. That will help make work easier and more pleasant for sure!

Drew, good luck with all the poking and prodding today. Hopefully they will find an answer.

RNG, the pad site looks great! Your property looks great! IMHO, you could start a competition with David !

For that matter, most of you guys could give Better Homes and Gardens enough material to publish for years! You all have gorgeous properties !

I need to get moving, going down to the big city for visit with the surgeon. Maybe a quick stroll around Harbor Freight if time permits.

Everyone have a great day!

found out something interesting today, local docs are totally unprepared for Covid, their plan is to have you stay home and be visited by the health dept. Really? No test kits at the present. Worrisome....

beautiful bright blue day out, can't get dirty since have to go to hospital this afternoon for CT scan. Head of garden club coming over shortly to pick up the plants I potted for the ladies. Like Wingsrpd, have the itch to do a little mowing, mow some weeds..

enjoy your day.

Here's the rest of the SARS CoV2 (the latest "official" name for CoVid-19) video from yesterday. Start at 15:28 to skip the part in yesterday's video.

44°F and foggy this morning, going up to 62° today. Expecting rain later, and possibly some severe storms. Also saw the possibility of snow on Saturday. Winter may not be quite done with us here just yet.

65°F and .07 inches rain.
Need to finalize my catchment plans and materials list. If I don’t go to plumbing supply today then a must tomorrow as they are closed weekends.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Don't sell March short. We get some of our heaviest snow storms in March.

An overcast 31ºF for today's low temperature and presently an overcast 34ºF with an expected overcast PM high in the mid 40ºF's. *Definitely Spring weather. *The sugar*houses around here are “steaming."

Randy- Good luck with your new job.

Mike- Welcome back and congratulations on the new tractor. I like that COVID-19 tracking site. Nice looking rig; congratulations:cool: I am happy that the tractor salesman anticipated your needs. I am glad that I added hooks to my FEL they come in handy.

Don- Thanks for sharing the link.

David- Thanks for sharing your carport project. That crosspiece will definitely stiffen up the structure.

Bruce- I hope that your Wife can get that dental bolt removed sooner rather than later.

Roy- Detailing one’s job description in writing is not a good sign (BTDT). I hope that you prove your value to the company management. Good luck with your job interview.

Drew- I hope that the docs can find the source of your challenges, I am happy that the realtors up the asking price:cool:, and I hope that your CAT scan reveals no new surprises.

“… Management became management because they are either too lazy or too stupid to do the job themselves.”- Bill. From my own personal experiences I have to agree that some of my superiors appeared to be situational crisis dependent as a management style.; luckily for me not all.

Billy- Good luck with that oak.

Hawkeye- Good luck with your transitioning.

RonJH- Your Aunt looks and reads to be in great shape. Some individuals age better than most; she’s one. And thanks for the used camera suggestion.;) I have an old Canon A1, I like their lenses and cameras.

Eric- I see possible cygnets on your pond this year. A guy around here was drowned by a swam after it knocked him out of his kayak defending the nest when he got too close. The sad part is that he was feeding the swan pair all season before the nest was built.

RNG- Once you get the circles and “8’s” down change your orientation and repeat…… and repeat…. and repeat some more. Increasing distance and altitude along the way. I sadly agree that most people will get it. I am in the high risk population by age and compromised immune system. BOOP/COP symptoms and disease progression is very similar to COVID-19.

“….Drew, good luck with all the poking and prodding today. Hopefully they will find an answer. … RNG, the pad site looks great! Your property looks great! I hope that everyone has a decent day today and that we all manage to avoid COVID-19.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

Don't sell March short. We get some of our heaviest snow storms in March.

Here in Southern Illinois, February is typically our heaviest snow month. We are no strangers to snow at Easter, though. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen.

My SIL canceled her cruise, not because she is afraid of CV19, her company just implemented a policy if anyone leaves the country they have to self quarantine for 14 days and she does not have that much vacation time.

Hand and foot card tournament has been canceled not because the club canceled it but because 1/4 of the players dropped out.

Games night playing Mexican Train was canceled because the players were insistent on getting all the dominoes sanitized, so instead the club just canceled.

Bingo was still going strong the other night but I wonder what the turnout will be like next week.

I remember in the late 60s or early 70s a big Easter snow.

And a big April one in 1987

We usually see some snow in April, sometimes big snows, and if I remember correctly May 3rd, 1977 +20" fell. The trees had already leafed the tree damage around here was extensive.

It always seemed to snow or have a mixed precipitation event at Holyoke, MA St. Patrick's Day parade. It will not this year, but it does not matter as the parade and associated events have been cancelled. The Smith College Annual Spring Bulb Show which is amazing is closed to the public this year. It will be televised.

I was able to order the ingredients required to make my own hand sanitizer through Amazon today. Basically 95% ethanol alcohol and aloe vera.

No wait time this time.:D SelectComfort® is sending my another replacement compressor with another remote to replace the replacement compressor that failed that replaced the compressor that failed that replaced the compressor that failed for free. They want me to send the current failed compressor back for analysis. They emailed me a shipping ticket.

Sons college just announced stay home, don’t return from spring break. They are looking at remote teaching, more info to follow.

We have a vehicle there, and he didn’t bring books home.

My aloa Vera came from amazon, but not the IPA yet.

Jay, we have had 4 Select Comfort beds (currently king in our bedroom, queen in travel trailer, old king and double given to oldest daughter and SIL), none of the compressors have ever had a problem. Only problems have been, foam inserts wore out on first king that we gave to daughter, she ordered replacements and good as new now and the second problem was SIL taking airline off of double mattress to move and broke the connector on the mattress. Select comfort was willing to send them a new mattress but they never got it done...

Wonder what the issue is with failing compressors? We always have ours on surge suppressor and don't change the firmness very often..

Hawkeye- The compressor has never been connected to a fused outlet bar which could be the issue with all the compressor failures.. Thanks. I did have my side air bladder fail once and I was not even wearing crampons back then. I really do like the bed when it holds air.

Those vibrating subwoofers remind me of those $.25 quarter machines in those backroad "No Tell Motels;" where traveling Bikers like RNG j/k and miscreants like myself may bed down for the night........ But that's what I've been told ;)
