Good morning!!!!

Kyle, that looks like a seriously itchy situation. Our nervous systems seem to have some strange triggers
hope that healed up quickly.
Propane man fixed heater in greenhouse so am off to turn that on for first time.
Have six trays of flowers and I really should to do some more but I think the sun is over
the yardarm.

Plus want to go take pics of new landscaping done. Now that opening into the woods opens up opportunities including taking my larger Massey with grapple
over that little bridge and having a good old time in the woods, blazing a trail to the pond. That bug infested pond...looking primordial full of oozy unknowns that
you step back from the edge. I've never found an alligator around here, we're just a little North, but if one were to be here it would be back in that
cypress lined pond. Bugs will eat you alive.

Gators are all the way to the VA line, so watch for them.

lot of work done today, had to rebuild fair amount of driveway sides, reseed it all, straw down

asked them to make bridge to pond look natural and am quite pleased with result. It held up my golf cart
of course it's now a big c'mon in to the deer coming my way... Deep ditch and barb wire kept them out before.
Now it's stroll on by time, dropping ticks as you go...

blueberry bushes starting to sprout, pretty dark claret color.

   / Good morning!!!! #105,783
I can't say i've drank a fifth a day since my early 20's,

drivesitfar; I quit drinking large amounts of booze in 1991, quit beer the next year. I might have a beer or two in summer IF the temps get hot enough AND I am not driving anywhere.

I quit drinking in '96. Got tired of being hung over all the time. In fact, I didn't even realize I was hung over all the time ... until I wasn't hung over all the time. I don't miss it at all. Every once in awhile, I'll have a shot of something with friends, or maybe a glass of wine at home with The Wife. Other than that, I'm just fine with a cold glass of water or tea (hot or cold).

Don’t get stung.

Good evening all. 40F for the start, fog, calm wind. Fog did not start to lift until 10:30, peaks of sunshine at 1:30, wind became moderate and high temp was 63F. Choir practice for the start, after putting boat cover back on boat, wife thinks she may be able to repair it. Hope so or find someone with heavier than norm sewing machine, couple hours and it will at least keep rain and leave and sun off of everything. Bike ride after the fog lifted, no nap, wife wanted to go to dinner early.
Don, it is interesting that breast milk is that low in protein.
RNG not sure if there is a universal diet, while most peop;e seem to do well on plant diets, sounds like you may not. Not everyone H2O needs are the same ... does oxalate wash out with plenty of water ?
RNG hope you can find a diet that works for you, and you have success in your projects today.
Frank hope the pupy and wife do well with their respective Dr visits.
Ransy soup looks good.
Ted have fun making the table top, do you have a base for it already or will you need to make the base as well.?
Drives, don't think anything smaller than a mountain lion will deter a raccoon from food.
Hawkeye, my Dad'd parents were 16mmm movie enthusiasts and shot home movies all the time. After Dad's death had some converted to DVD, fun to watch.
David nice to hear guys won, good luck with bee class.
prayers for all

Some are saying big east coast storm this weekend at most eastern NC gets hit pacific jet too strong

   / Good morning!!!! #105,787
Inventoried all the carport pieces. Spent some time with base pieces exploring options.

Bee class was quite interesting and informative and I did learn something. I learned I don’t want to be a beekeeper. Very willing to allow a real beekeeper put hives on the property in exchange for honey.

A touch of frost this morning, I think we are back to more showers once it thaws. Our met office has a nice aerial view simulator that often gives a good prediction of when the clouds will be rolling over, however the internet was so slow again this morning, best option was to just go outside and look up.

Kyle, hope your son is back to normal, that was quite a rash !

Drives, where we live a shorter fence is always the best option.
Maybe it's not as windy where you live - especially now you are being careful with what you eat

Good morning, temp here is 21°F and that is the high for the day. Wind N 8 mph. 30% chance of flurries.

I've got a vet appointment this afternoon for an annual physical for one of the cats. That is all I will be doing today.

Have a safe day all

Good morning! 32 now, may get to 35 later. Our strange winter continues. Been very mild. Not complaining!

Need to get moving.....hard to get enthused these days. The countdown is having an effect I didn稚 anticipate....

Everyone have a safe and good day.

Good morning. It's 54° this morning going up to 71° this afternoon. Another "cold" front is heading our way ... with rain in advance of it. Rains just started here a few minutes ago and should continue most of the morning.

I've got to go to Houston this morning, in the rain, for a meeting. I'm glad I washed my truck Friday.

David ... god luck with your car port.

Drew ... glad your landscaping is progressing. Looks good.

Randy ... did your soup turn out good!

Hoping everyone has a great "Hump Day Eve".

Prayers to all.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 33ー with light rain this morning. Heading to 33ー with cloudy skies. Weather radar shows snow. But rain here. Another Dr appointment this morning. I am finally getting some relief from stomach pain. After last weeks Dr visit. Work at conserving energy when I get home.

Drew, entrance to woods looks good. Gators and snakes to be found as you continue path. Maybe you need a pair of snake boots like Don's.

Drives, both fences look good. I would put up the shorter one. Great picture of sun rise. I think you sent your drizzle this way.

Kyle, hope son is getting better.

Looking, I never was a heavy drinker. Well except when I hung around the fishermen at Port Darlington. Those guys sure liked their beer.

RNG, did you get the generator?

Payers and best wishes to everyone.

Good Morning All.

Good morning all. Next three days are dry and nice here, around 60 for high.
Food shopping this morning, then planting more flower seed trays later on.

But at least you'll die happy...
If only it were true...the reality from what I've seen is most folks who totally neglect their health and are seriously obese don't die happy, they
die in pain and misery from a variety of complications. Lot of "wish I hads"...
Years ago Don taught us all that we eat our way into problems and if we are motivated enough, we can often eat our way out of problems.

In the Food Lion about three months ago a 300 pound guy was behind me with four cases of regular Coke and about six bags of chips.
I really had to grind my teeth to be quiet, it's his life and his fate, as was my Father's who loved his cigars and died of laryngeal cancer.

After I get my chores done, hope to take a ride back in the woods to find the pond. With no exaggeration, I have gotten lost every single time I've gone back there coming out bug bit and briar scratched. Today I take a compass! Gps is cheating...;)

Happy 80 years ... to Mr. Bird!

   / Good morning!!!! #105,797
Ron: that picture I posted is actually from my living room facing west and a sunset, but sometimes the sunrises are that purdy too. when I used to drive our kids to school i'd see sunrises with Mt. Rainier in full view that were amazing, but in those days it wasn't as easy to stop and take pictures like it is now with an Iphone.

ALL: Seattle Drizzle is still ongoing and I feel for those in the lower areas cause they have to be getting flooded. hopefully we'll have a few sun breaks today cause it's my birthday and I just read it's Bird's birthday too.

speaking of raccoons do any of you recommend a game camera where I might set up to monitor the 2 and 4 legged critters that come in my yard at night (and during the day)? or maybe a security system since it's at my home?

not a ton of wind here, but that said it's been windier the last few years so good point on the shorter fence.

have a great day everybody!!

Good morning All. Yesterday was a good day at the vets and doctors. The puppy and Wifey both good reports. Today’s mid 40’s and clouds will be spent on inside winter projects brought home from the lake. Have a good pre-hump day!

Good morning! 54˚ The rains just passed so FireWise is on this morning. The heater never came on last night, the house is still at 70˚F a sign spring is coming.

Drew you have a nice entrance to the enchanted woods, now you need to blaze a trail your golf cart can take to impress the new buyers. I fixed my trails before selling and think that snagged the first lookers. People love their very own private trails in the woods.

RNG, Who would have thought that the diet I researched extensively eight years ago to resolve my health issues would be the fad diet of 2020.

Kyle, the one thing that is the unknown in humans is extra protein inadvertently feeding cancer cells. There was a study on mice long ago to get the cancer to grow they gave them extra protein, they took the extra protein away and it stopped growing. No such test on humans has been preformed so there was no known link, until 2017: Protein key to cancer cells ability to spread identified -- ScienceDaily
and these research papers specifically on animal proteins and cancer: Flashback Friday: Animal Protein Compared to Cigarette Smoking | NutritionFacts.org
