One day I apparently forgot lock my seclusion room office at the State Hospital. The next morning I arrived to find the heads of Security, Maintenance and Psychiatry; the Superintendent; the Medical Director; the Unit Director, and Charge Nurse of my unit all milling around outside my office. I was informed that my office had been broken into and ransacked. The office was as I had left it excepting the one pile of paperwork that collapsed, I informed this esteemed assemblage that confidential material was safe; as no one could find anything with my system of filing and paperwork. I was ordered to clean my office. This proved to be very upsetting to some of my patients.

Our dog, Tiger, was just barking, like, it seems, every other dog in the village. That called for a different handgun than my 9mm- the shoddy, Italian, .22 blank revolver. Hopefully the weak report from it got whatever deer are around moving away, otherwise I go back out with it and launch a banger flare.

Well, seems my work around works too well. A simple 5 minute removal of a coil fixes the problem. Almost as well as doing it correctly with software changes. But hey, I am actually ok with it. I was pretty happy this afternoon. Even though it is raining this evening...life is good.

Good evening all. 49F in Kerrville this morning, clear, light wind. North wind got up to 20-28 MPH, stayed clear, and high temp of 74. 66 miles today, 3300 feet of climb, 80 miles+ tomorrow. Will catch up next week.

46 and a cold rain. Areal flood warning out till morning. Somewhere around 2 inches has already fell. Another inch or more is forecast. We ended up missing the severe weather.

Took oldest one to therapy today and on way home wife informs me the youngest has a stomach bug. Finally got him to sleep.

Got an unsolicited call this morning from a wireless security company. It acted like there was someone listening on the other end and then selecting prerecorded responses to my answers. As there were delays in the response. If I’m not super busy I like to string them along whenever I get a chance.
So this morning when asked how I was I said I’d been better. No phase. Right into there wireless security system monitoring and all I had to do was place a small sign in yard.
I’ve already got a security system.

No. Smith & Wesson doesn’t require a contract.
Beep. Beep. Line is dead.
Last time that response got me off the call list for that scam for 3-4 years. We’ll see how long it works this time.

Didn’t realize that much severe weather was going up the coast. Hope y’all don’t have any major damage.

Rotator cuff, right Buppies? Same here, and my internist said surgery has a pretty low success rate, and a buddy of mine bears that out. if you can get useful improvements in range of motion and strength through therapy, you may be ahead of the game!

Eric, is there a reason why that lamb has a 'W' on its' side?

The W is actually a 2 digit number, sprayed onto the fleece of newborn lambs and their mothers to allow them to be easily paired up again. It becomes less distinct as they get older. You can see it clearer on this one of a similar age (excuse it standing with feet in breakfast - this was orphaned a couple of weeks after birth and hasn't yet had lessons in table manners)




PJ, I could have guessed you found the Gear4music website. Understand it's an addictive place for musicians, is it hard to stop peeking to discover new things to need ?

62 right now...rain today and tonight, but nothing like some of you guys are getting. High, upper 60's.

Chores today are to finish charging the ZTR battery (I don't leave the charger on it unless I'm close at hand) and install a dog gate between the hall and dining room. Also, start cleaning and organizing the garage when I can get everything moved out of the garage. I'm a packrat, no doubt. But it's getting to the point it's hard to navigate around in the garage
