Good morning!!!!

Anybody recognize this old goat? I briefly thought about playing along, but couldn't get over the gagging sensation when I saw the his photo...

Hahaha ... I've been known to drag people along like that. My particular favorite is when a guy calls and asks for (insert female name here). I generally respond with, "She's in the shower. Who's this?" That usually elicits all manner of blue language.

When I first read those names, Drew, I thought you'd been by a medical marijuana dispensary.

BTW, how's the CBD working for you?

CBD creme works nicely on my wrists, seems to penetrate and relief lasts longer than ortho formulation with lidocaine.
Anything else I'm too chicken to try in a pill until Bayer or someone packages it. Which they will...

It started raining this morning, changed to snow and got cold. 32 F is a tad too cool for me to work the levers on the BH for the three hours I figure it will take me to clear the front room window. I did get the ice build up from under the kitchen window taken care of. That took an hour. I will deal with the front room window on Sunday after I get back from the city.

…. Trying to keep active busy people off knees, legs, shoulders, arms, (and neck for me...) doesn't seem to work very well
unless they completely immobilize you like in the old days.- Drew. The Prednisone may not be helping that Tinnitus-like stuff with which you are dealing. I've been hearing Spring Peepers ever since I started the Prednisone.

Prednisone is a powerful stimulant. It took my normal “nervous energy” to another level of mania. It also elevates blood sugars and A1C levels. I went from a brittle diabetic to a boring diabetic once the prednisone dosing started to taper down. I cannot take NSAID’s, I do not like prescribed pain killers, I will not take steroidal medications again unless my BOOP/COP flares; I’ll live with the aches & pains.

The last time a tree grabbed one of my drones I used my 12G Browning pump shotgun and a couple of deer slugs for retrieval. I trisected that spruce, but I got my drone back unscathed. Changed the battery and flew it some more. The other trees saw what happened to “Shorty”:eek:…. No more drone grabbing tree actions. ;):D

I kind of resemble that old coot, but I have a ghetto button and a different style of glasses. I also do not post selfies:eek:

…. When I first read those names, Drew, I thought you'd been by a medical marijuana dispensary- RNG. Thanks for the laugh. I personally like Gorilla Goo, Ghosttrain Haze, and GirlScout Cookie…. ;). There are a couple more, but I can get forgetful:rolleyes:

My MM doc today recommended a CBD/THC suppository for my generalized neuropathy  I did get better guidelines for the CBD dosing. I’ll take the CBD dosing recommendations; no way, no how, I’m gonna stick something up where the sun don’t shine.

David- Thanks for sharing the finch picture. What kind of finch?

I hope that everyone is having a decent day.

Reminds me of the old joke about the farmer, his new hearing aid, and suppositories. If you change your mind, Jay, take special care of where you put what...

You know, Paul, maybe that old coot has it figured out and fuddy duddies like Drew and I just don't offer what women want in this modern age?:confused2::laughing:

Jay thanks for the research, that is about what I thought just needed a Dr. to confirm.

Very nice and substantial wall.

I will seek out that contest. I'm feeling lucky again. Last night I won. We were at a dinner by my trail development team followed by a concert under the stars and the band had a drawing for a CD. Out of the hundred people there I won!

Also yesterday my wife said to go ahead and get the Mazda CX-5, and then added the killer words: "If that's what you want". You know what that means. A whole new direction. I went out by myself and something followed me home yesterday, she like it! Today I'll decide if it gets adopted if the salesman is in an agreeable mood. Hint: Neither of us considered this vehicle before.

The wood Shop guy contacted me and Thursday will be a training day.

A morning hike starts in 1.5 hours, got to get going - a few high clouds 54 ˚F.

My guess:

The new trail mobile. A reason to widen all the trails. More trail time. I can just see your wifey driving that. :)

Sad thing is, the gal he was after, most likely looks worse than him. My friend's wife has worked at the Breast Scan place for decades. She often repeats "Guys, you don't even want to see about 80% of them"..

Now we have 2 guys, both EMT's or such, with the same tractors, working the same state whilst living out of state.... Y'all should go play the lottery. Texas is a state I wouldn't want to have to commute across, unless getting paid to do it like you.

^^^^ For some individuals it really does not matter  I saw a few "interesting" admissions working on the psychiatric male admission unit. One admit got caught because he got the (rare) disease that killed his object of affection. There are far too many sickos freely moving around in our society. Some individuals should never be allowed in public. The public would be better served that some individuals are culled from the population.

This new fungal, antibiotic resistant "bug" is really, really nasty. This one worries me personally; makes me hesitant to going to any hospital.

Hospitals are for the dying. I am not about to die, therefore I will not go anywheres near a hospital.

Spent quite a few days in hospitals the last few yrs. They sure helped me.

Good evening all. 54F this morning, mostly clear sky, light wind. Wind stayed light, sky just had a few stray clouds and high temp was 87F. Town run this morning, followed by bike ride then nap, then got new powerwasher ready for first start.
Ted glad you could get some cooperation from your knee. Nice loader work:cool:
Drew glad you are able to get the meds you need.
Prayers for all.

Kalani home from Vet, lumps removed. Possibly the swollen area on foot is cancerous.
Doing very well, currently resting up on my side of the bed, her favorite spot. She is our 2nd longest lived Boxer and otherwise doing very very well. She continues to have a good life.

Plenty of sunshine this morning to help the rising breeze chase away last night's frost. We lost our electric supply due to some unplanned work on a local transformer and then an afternoon lost taking my wife to hospital for a checkup has meant I'm a little behind on here. Parking at the hospital is always a nightmare, insufficient capacity coupled with fantasy appointment times leads to an excess of vehicles with nowhere to go. It's a great incentive to try and stay healthy.

JMK, hope you got home safely and remembered to say hello to family before putting your feet up again with the tractor manual :) When is the shiny blue machine due to arrive ?

26 °F and going to 37. Winds NNW 11 gusting to 19 mph. Mainly sunny.

We got about 1/2" of snow overnight.

I am leaving here about 8 A.M. for the 'big smoke'. I should arrive at the battery store about noon.

Have a good day all
