Kyle,

Not much detail so guessing it was the 450 Honda. He has a loaner 450 Yamaha for the next 4 days.

He won both vintage races he entered today. One on a Bultaco, the other on the 250 Kawasaki.

Got 7th on the loaner Yamaha.

Sounds like he made the best of it.

Sodamo, did you put a clause in the sale contract in case you may need to borrow it??? I would be kind of sad, seeing it drive off.

RNG, be sure to chock the wheels or something to keep her from rolling away. Would the front wheels on drive on ramps be high enough?

We got the tomato plants planted. 6 Celebrity and 6 Better Boy. May plant some more in a week or so. My brother said to move the tomato row over 1 row each year for 4 or 5 years, to help prevent disease and pest buildup.

You guys stay warm up there/over there.

Prayers.

Why are you getting rid of the snowmobile trailer?

Good one, it was full of his stuff. I have delivered all his stuff to his place. Been down there all week getting him moved in.

14 degrees this morning and cloudy.

The parts for my sled were delivered while I was gone. I repaired everything last night and I'm ready to ride now.

I did not read up on everything since I've been gone but prayers for those in need. Have a good day.

Good morning to all! Low of 28, going up to 55. Possibly some rain overnight tonight, then chances for showers continue until Tuesday. It would be really nice to get some rain.

Ron, good to hear your aunt is improving, hopefully recovery will be swift.

Roy, hopefully your wifey is also steadily improving and getting back to normal.

Drew, congrats on a successful planting day... what gets planted next?

David, congrats on another successful project, looks good! Now, all the rest of the project list still needs completion :D

We have all the clocks in the house corrected, now to remember how to switch the cars...... Our state is battling the time change.... The state senate approved staying on "standard time" and now it moves to the house for approval......the state house approved remaining on DST and now moves to the senate for approval.... Any bets on how this is going to turn out? They are both in opposition of each other, there is no comprising....one or the other... I doubt a decision will be made:confused2:

Today is supposed to be nice outside, so I may try to play in the shop, for a little bit anyway.

Everyone have a great day, prayers sent.

LS always a challenge for me to change clocks in the car used to be two small buttons to push now find out which submenu to use

RNG, be sure to chock the wheels or something to keep her from rolling away. Would the front wheels on drive on ramps be high enough?

The emergency brake, which applies braking to the rear wheels, will be on, and one rear tire will have chocks on both sides.

The instructions I'm following say to get the front end as high as possible. The higher it gets, the less trans fluid spills out when the output housing comes off. I bet I can get it high enough to stand in front of with the FEL...

But that'll have to wait 'till tomorrow. I think I jinxed myself because it's been raining on and off ever since I posted earlier.:duh:

I did manage to get the 4 wheeler stuck in a drift
Someone is having waaaayyy too much fun! Claye, 76 out now and I'm planting flowers like mad, hot and sweaty,
but your snow report sure cooled me off...that's a lot of snow.

planted Chioga and golden beets this morning, then lots of flowers, one more batch of zinnias to plant before thunderstorms come in.

64°F and .68 inches rain.
Will today be the day I finally get my roof metal fastened in place? Can only hope it dried enough.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Wnngsprd. totally agree. He only had to go about 6 miles. Last mile up hill.
Got word they made it safely and he already worked on cutting in his entrance and even mowed a bit.

Kyle, not in contract but in a strange way I will miss it, been my primary for a number of years albeit mostly as a mower whereas my Kioti was the tractor we built the house with. So in some sense I’m back where I started. Once I get the new flail, the Kioti will be my primary mower again.
Terri, Keith’s SO comment about potentially missing the tractor and assured me I was welcome to visit any time and mow on their property. I thanked her but declined offer

Cleared the walks...
I'll hit the drive when my stepdaughter comes home from work or tomorrow morning. We got 2" or so of fresh powder. Per the forecast, we may see a mix tonight....so, probably wait until Monday morning.

Boy, I just can't stay away from .22LR pistols!! Just ordered a Ruger Mark IV Tactical:
Ruger-Mk-IV-Tactical-2.jpg
Threaded barrel, of course...so ear protection won't be required.
The picture is something I downloaded from the Internet. I won't have the gun in hand for about a week, give or take.

For those into Ruger .22's (or any other .22LR pistols), the Mark IV is a great plinker and, unlike the earlier versions, so very easy to take down for cleaning. My Mark IV 22/45 Lite cycles subsonic ammo pretty well. We'll have to see how well this one does...

69°F and very foggy this morning. Forecast says 77° with 40% chance of rain.

I drove into Richmond and had dinner with wife last evening, since she wasn't coming out to the ranch this weekend. Dinner was at our favorite Tex-Mex place.

Depending on weather, I'll try to get some fertilizer out on the 9 acres around the house. At least half is still too soft to even drive the Polaris Ranger across and I'm not into using the walk behind spreader so ..... we'll see.

I'll probably try to finish getting truck, two tractors, and Zero Turn washed this afternoon. The Ranger was all I got finished on Friday.

RNG .... the best "ramps" I have is one of our tractor's front end loaders. I use them to raise the ZT to sharpen / replace blades.

Hope everyone, where applicable, got their clocks moved forward last night. About a half dozen, who didn't, walked into church this morning ........ just as services we're ending.

Everyone have a great end to your weekend.

Prayers to all.

I have the SS Target version of the MK IV. Like it a lot. Weighs 10 oz more than the Tactical. Have not shot it since getting it back from recall.

The height I'll lift to will be limited by how high I can safely extend my biggest pair of jack stands. However high that is, it'll have to do. You use jack stands too, right?

But that's gonna be tomorrow. It rained shortly after I posted this morning. Then the sun came out and I was all set to get started when it started to hail. Not much, so when the sun came out again I started heading for the door and it rained some more. now the sun is out again, and if I go out at all, it'll be with a chainsaw in my hand. I don't mind walking around in the rain, and I can sit out a brief shower under the roof on the side-by-side, but I'll be darned if I'm gonna lay on a wet driveway.:muttering:

60 right now, had been about 64, after a midnight low of 40. .41 of rain overnight. Sun just came out. I’ve been chasing the clock all day if you understand my meaning.

The only clocks I have to manually set are the old bedroom alarm clocks and microwave, wall clocks are atomic and range is WiFi enabled. My truck has hour, minute and reset buttons, but I keep it on GPS time through the nav system, so it sets itself too.

Have a nice evening and prayers for all.

Well, we got the snow and the rain and now it is back to snowing again. I didn't do anything outside today, wait a minute, I didn't do anything inside either. A conserve energy day.
I will definitely need to plow in the morning. probably get outside and fired up about 7.

I shelled out good money for two Marathon clocks that are supposed to change automatically to DST. Nope, nada, didn't happen.
Marathon WILL hear about it in the morning.

I just wasted an hour savings of daylight taking a nap after waking up too early because of moving the clocks forward.

Good evening all. 48F for the start, overcast, calm wind. Overcast all day, short period of light rain, light wind and a high temp of 53F. Chapel this morning, preacher had a nice way of greeting those who fail the "clock test", and now I nor the wife can remember it. Update the inside clocks, lunch with stepdaughter and her boy friend, nap and ready wood and stove for tomorrow.
Roy nice gun, wife doing OK?
Drew glad the potatoes are started, mayby a pic of the hills will help credibility :D
Prayers for all.
