I think the soreness came not from the monkey on the back, but spanking the the one on the front, since the one on the back left!

VERY FUNNY...really made me laugh. Problem is, my primary care MD is a woman and she was my ex's MD for a long time and still is...meaning I better not say anything out of line. By a weird coincidence, the same MD is my step-mothers MD too...AND my ex MIL's MD.

Why would you spank a monkey? Living in a small town can be interesting. I was called for jury duty a few years ago. I was amazed at the number of my fellow citizens who had some sort of indiscretions on record. One, a local farmer, had gotten caught growing weed in his youth. Before the narcs could confiscate the farm!! Another, a local CPA, pillar of the community type, went absolutely nuclear when asked abou his mother's shoplifting arrest. A few folks like doctors and judges know an awful lot of small town secrets. I loaned a truck to one of my neighbor's several times, never thought twice about it. Good neighbor, and friend. Then one day in a chance conversation, he mentioned that he hadn't had a DL since he was 18. He was 40 when he told me this. I was surprised, but didn't give him a hard time about it. But he hasn't asked to borrow my truck since. That saves both of us from a awkward conversation.

They got a cute 10 acre place with a decent barn, small square "ring" and decent house

They are good folk, and good friends too.

41 at 0500. Supposed to be clear and mid 50's later.

I'm skipping Church and heading over to help my firends move some more (they have 3 adopted special needs, 1 adopted, and 4 of their own).

This afternoon we are Hosting myMIL's Birthday dinner and making a prime rib roast, so I need to be back home by 2pm.

He has more helpers coming today. Yesterday was supposed to be the big move, but it was also forecast 100% heavy rain chance.

The winter weather advisory is in effect and as of right now we have a grand total of maybe 2 inches on the ground.
Looks like later this morning I will go out and take off the blower and put the snow blade on.

David, from what I see in your recent posts you are a good friend and good folk yourself...very unselfish that you take all that time to help others. I have been laughing over the stupid thing I did the other day...put a bag of microwave popcorn in the nuker and then pushed the "Potato" button instead of the "Popcorn" one. Decided to run out to the roadfront and get the newspaper and mail, and when I came back in smoke was billowing out of the microwave and the smoke alarms were going off...:laughing: you have no idea how stupid I felt....:laughing:

24 degrees right now, going out to get the newspaper and see what is on sale this week...yes, there is nothing in the oven right now...have a great Sunday.

Are sure about the 2" Wayne,early last week another nor'easter was headed your way than down graded to mini nor'easter late week than 5-10 iches yesterday,I don't thing channel 9 would ever hype the weather..chance of..50/50..can't rule out..maybe..seems to be there favor one liners this winter...just bustn on you little thats all Wayne.

Your not alone on that one David,2 mins for popcorn somehow I punch in extra 0 didn't notice until I smelt something burning..yep popcorn caught fire in mircowave..what stinking mess surprise the mircowave still work afterwards.

Where I used to work, somebody would go into the break room and set their popcorn too long in the microwave. When it burned and started stinking really badly, everyone would start asking whose popcorn was burned. Nobody would own up to it because they didn't want to listen to everyone give them extreme grief for smellin' up the whole office for the rest of the day.

34 F here this morning. I went to TSC yesterday and spent almost $300 on some flower bulbs, garden seeds, onion sets, grass seed, and fertilizer. A 50 lb bag of lawn fertilizer is around $30 these days. It sure was easy to spend a bunch of money, but they have a great stock of stuff now and I wanted to get it before it disappears.

Had the tractor out yesterday and moved the tree that knocked out our hydro on Friday, decent sized Hemlock that had root rot, will make some decent firewood.

Thomas as soon as I posted that this morning it really started to snow and by noon we had about 8" on the ground. It's that nice heavy white stuff that sticks in the chute of the blower. One good thing we have not lost power,,,, yet! Oh, and keep in mind that WMUR is the only station that keeps New Hampshire informed! Oh, and they are the only station in NH!
