Dump run, recycle dumpster was missing, but left them a bag plus all the packaging for various furniture projects
I've worked on recently, with all the white styrene guaranteed to make a huge mess plastic inside. Attendant pointed to landfill bin when I opened the box to show the white plastic inside.
They really ought to make a law requiring it all to be recyclable.

And while I'm on a recycle rant, how about making it a requirement that all political lawn signs be 100 percent recyclable. Now there's a waste of resources for sure. A blight on the neighborhood, ever see an attractive one?
Do you think the loser is really going to save all those signs? The incumbent might, but otherwise all that plastic goes into the landfill.
I can only imagine how many Cruz signs there must be stuck in the ground right now in Texas.

21 in toro came back today needed carb rebuild even though we only use non ethanol fuel but now ready to mow again

In two weeks or so have good idea of winter tendencies can not wait

Good evening all. 50F this morning, overcast, calm wind. Rain began 11AM, ending soon, light wind with moderate gusts, high temp 54F. Went to Men's meeting, chimney sweep scheduled for the day, they canceled due to rain in forecast. Too late to sneak bike ride before rain, worked on misfire causes on the van, check on if check to phone company cleared, and helped wife clean out fridge after finding another coke can leaked

Most of the issues end up being lack of proper sorting or cleaning by public. We lost curbside recycle then on-site containers because of too much trash in recycle stream, and cost to sort greater than value of material after sort. Styrofoam was an early casualty due to no rinsing of the containers.
Ron, sorry to hear you have so long to begin PT.

Great success bushhogging, finally getting all the moringa knocked down around the coconut palms. Gonna be a process getting tid of them completely, might even have to spray some herbicide. Prefer to just mow into oblivion.

I think there's pretty good potential for success with that, David, at least if my experience this year with the yellow star thistle is any indication. The grass got very tall before I had a chance to mow it, and as a result left a thick mat over most of the ground. I think that blocked out the light needed for the thistle to sprout, and very little came up. If something like that can work with your moringa, it will increase your chances for success.

Good morning all, 30 going to 54 and mostly sunny. Rain starts Friday. We are having our inspection today, everything should be fine. Won't get much else done. Wish we did not have to buy things we won't use and will just through away when the exp. date comes up. That is life.

36 going to 62 today, clear day, rain coming in tomorrow.
Have appt at Massey dealer this morning but less motivated after seeing what the stock market has done, and is doing.
Lot of money disappeared in the last week, and all the fun money goes first.
Going to see a MF 4707 today and a JD 5M next week.
I may be better selling the larger Massey, keeping the Kubota, and putting the cash in the bank.
Will see what Mr Dow does next week.

Thought I had a big plane hovering over the house last night but when I went outside, turned out to be a bean combine in the next field over, stopped but roaring away. It's been good weather to harvest.

mowed for quite a while yesterday, was greeted and treated by my first Asian pear. Juicy, crunchy and a little buggy. All good.
