Good morning!!!!

It looks like the low well be 24° this morning. Yesterday was overcast with snow showers in the morning, the high was in the mid 30's. Today is going to be in the high 30's with party cloudy skies and some wind.

The snow sled looks like it going to work to help pack down the snow for the blower. I went up to see one of the neighbors and ended up helping him put a soft cab on his side by side. It said it would take 45 minutes. Three and half hours later we got it done. The instructions weren't all that great. And he has two extra holes in one of his doors, not sure what he is going to use them for. I was out side talking to a friend on the phone when that happened.

Making a trip to town this morning, not sure what I'll do when we get back.

Hope everyone has a nice day.
CWB.

Home, Sweet Home! Got in at 0220 this morning...a long day yesterday (~0430 to 0220) with nothing more then a cat nap at the airport in Detroit. Called in work this morning so I can catch up on things at home

So, today...
63 and raining...high in the mid-60's and rain all day. It would have been nice to be able to mow today, but I guess that ain't gonna happen.

Good morning to all! Low of 42, already up to 52, shooting for 65. Clear skies.

Ron, prayers and thoughts for a speedy recovery are sent, get well soon!

Drew, glad to hear that the storm has been downgraded for your area, " inches" of rain is still a lot.

Have to run some errands today, then just a few things to ready for winter, well, a lot of things to prepare for winter.

Everyone have a great day! Prayers sent.

Foxes and deer are naturally curious. Deer will just stand at the edge of the bush watching you while you fire up the chainsaw and cut down a tree.

Good Morning!!!! 54F @ 7:30AM. Sunny. High near 75F. Winds WNW at 10 to 15 mph.

Hope everything went well with the procedure, Ron, and that you'll be better'n new in no time!

There's a gray fox around here that thinks it owns the place. I hear it barking often, and many times have walked up very close to it as it watched me. Fun to watch, but I could do without the fox surprises on the front door mat...

Found and fixed a loose pin in one of the old connectors on the old motorcycle yesterday, then mounted the front fender. Managed to strip the threads in one of the mounting holes, and had to get out the right angle drill to install the Helicoil in it. That's when I found termite mud tubes in the back of the cabinet where the drill is stored. I'll need to take a slow walk around that side of the house to see if I can find where they're coming in, and probably call a termite company to deal with them.

Made a bracket for the tachometer and installed it, and will drop by my buddie's shop tomorrow to see if he has the proper connector for it. Otherwise I have some Weatherhead waterproof connectors that will probably work even better, but I'd like to stay with BMW factory stuff if I can.

The driver with the Vanagon bumpers is supposed to call an hour before he gets here this afternoon, but with how poorly this company has performed so far, I won't be sitting around waiting for the call and won't be surprised if it never comes at all.

Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!

2.5in of rain since midnight raining hard now over 76 in for the year to date. This is unreal

Pond going over spill way again wish we could share it with somebody that needs it. Leaves here have yet to make the change very late this year. Outside very tropical air mass in place as has been the norm

Roy, put your feet up. You too Ron, and hope you are on the mend.

some of the okra plants are ten feet tall. Spent some time taking down the garden today, putting away sprinklers, still a lot more to go.

50°F and cloudy this morning, going up to a whopping 58° today. Some rain expected tomorrow, with a high of 49° and a low in the 30s ! Looks like we went from above average heat to below average cool.

Best wishes for those in the hurricane / tropical storm path. Same for all on the mend.

Having one of those frustrating "wish-it-was-Saturday" days at work today. Biggest aggravation in the world of Quality Assurance: You can't make people care. :(

Well, I can think of one just a bit worse: People that go out of their way to screw things up. Had a weldor in a Kansas City plant that consistently botched one particular weld, one that had to be watched and controlled closely. The two other weldors on that part had no problem. I flew out there to attend a meeting of all concerned, and this joker shows up to the table in a vest with no shirt underneath, revealing a huge "Born To Lose" tattoo on his upper arm and shoulder. Easy problem to solve: just assign him to a different job, but delicately, so as not to step on any Union toes...

Fire their sorry asses and they will care, then.

Not mine to fire, unfortunately, or that would have happened long ago. I'm just the Quality Manager. Production Supervisors and Machine Operators work under someone else.
