Good morning all, 28 here now going to 42 with scattered flurries. Got a couple light sprinkles and a quick flurry out of the last system. Calling for more Sat night through Sun night, hope we get more then. I have seen 2 aftermarket window tints that were good but both were pro done and I have no idea who did them.

Have a great day, Prayers sent. Ed

We got 1.08” of rain, not too much wind just gusty. It’s 31 this morning, well below normal temps for the next week. Going to try to get my garage door power head installed today. Go see mom later.
RIP let us know about you guys.
Prayers for all since we all need them.

The promise of some sunshine made me think it would be a little warmer this morning. Two minutes outside and unwanted face wash by stinging sleet soon got me to lower my expectations .

These 3 are definitely feeling warmer, having found a bale of silage that I'd set fire to the day before.

Heated seats are one of life's best luxuries.
Never seen a heated steering wheel in our country, it's either gloves or alternate between steering with one hand while the other warms back up under a thigh (alas usually my own :))

Need to pour second cup of coffee. 18° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 34° with a chance of some snow or rain. Snow was all done by 10 am yesterday. Then got warm enough to melt snow off drive and walkway. Dog needs to be taken to groomer today. Then wife liked the caulking I did in shower and side counter top. Has added another 16' of counter to her honey-do list. Easy job, But I just put all the tools and supplies away. Hopefully I can find where I put them. No other plans for the day.

Ed, Prayers for your mom. Glad you a feeling good enough to visit her.

Drew, you should upgrade your phone to one that has Personal Hotspot. Then you would not need that MI-FI. I know your a flip Phone guy. But you are missing a lot good features that Flip Phones do not have.

I had after market tint put in out Malibu Maxx while in AZ. That stuff was tough and had a 10 year install/material warranty.

We have had 4 cars with sunroofs. Never opened any of them. Wife's car has it. Maybe I should check and see if it works.

Prayers for those in need.

Good Morning All.

32 high of 40 today wind will blow but sunny skies

Two new doors being installed today and that finishes all the doors on the first floor seven total and has taken 11 years. All windows downstairs have been completed as well (last year). There are seven windows up stairs to do but that's for the next eleven years

Somebody from Delaware south is going to see up to a foot of snow by Monday coming up heavy wet snow

Riptides prayers for you and your wife prayers for Ed and his mom and all others needing them

Several years ago, I bought a used pickup truck that had the aftermarket tint on the windows; tint that was far too dark. And it was tough, alright; took me half a day to get it off and clean the windows.

Guess i got that wrong. Drew does have a smart phone. Maybe he needs some help with using the Personal Hotspot feature. When I used mine I plugged the charging cable into my notebook. Then turned on the Hotspot feature. My PC did all the rest hooking up to the internet. Also can work as a WIFI hot spot when turned on.

Good morning! 42˚ heading to 70˚ cloudy with moist wind from the South. Today is road day. I'll fill up the winter pot holes in the 1/2 mile driveway.

Buckeye check the darkness of the tint on the front windows on the new Subarus.

Even though our Subaru Forester had tinted windows the front drivers and passenger's windows have a much lighter tint which is too light for the sun in Texas to be effective. The rear window are darker and are ok. The dealership took the Subaru to a place that installs film tint, that they deal with all the time, and they did a good job. No problems so far. Also on my 2008 Ford 150 the dealer installed tint that looks great and has no problems. The dealer will know where to send your vehicle for a quality tint addition that is guaranteed. Or you can ask the dealer which company they use and take it their after the purchase. I have added extra tint to every vehicle I have ever owned to the maximum shade of tint allowed by law.

My wife has blue eyes and is sun sensitive.

24 and clear as a bell. Should see 48 and clouds later.

Buppies, our weatherman is only hinting at snow here. Not sure we want that much wet snow, but, sorry guys up north, we just haven't gotten enough snow here for winter to end yet.

Grilled a nice boneless skinless chicken breast to slice onto a salad yesterday for lunch. Checked the utensil drawer in the old/backup gas grill nearby and there was a new Carolina wren nest with one egg. I know it's new because I cleaned out their old nest last fall. I was hoping they would choose the wren bird house I put up, but it's not as eclectic, I guess.

Wife coming home from NC today. Taking vehicle for annual state inspection and then gym again today.

How is the tint applied, Bill? A long, long time ago I tried the film stuff, and it ended up bubbling the first summer. Are the new ones sprayed on, or have they figured out how to make the film stick?

Ya gotta clean the glass REALLY good and then scrape it with a razor blade and clean it again.....Cut the film to size, squirt on soapy water and strip off the backing on the film and put the sticky side on the glass. The soapy water will help you position the film, then take a squeegy or credit card and work the bubbles from the center to the edges. It is harder to explain than it is to do it, and better still, let a tint shop do it and just pay them.

I keep forgetting about that when I go to Mom's. I need to show her a video on my notebook about a new stand straight walker. I don't think she wants to spend $600 for a new walker but then she does not have many expenses and I think her back and hands will feel better at night if her stress points using the walker change. Anybody know anyone with one of these?

Buppies, how did the Hokies lose that game? You pulling for the Cavs now, or just switching over to West VA? Glad the Heels won.

I'm headed to Verizon this morning with my Apple SE and ask them to compare mb charges between the phone and my MIFI.
The latter costs 45 bucks a month, if I can get rid of it, without slowing everything down too bad, for sure!
And they sold me the Apple too.
Taking this laptop with me to make sure it all works before I head out the door.
thanks for info.

Mostly done cleaning up. Heavy wet slop. The ground is so soft I switched to the bucket and still dug up grass all over the lawn! Concrete drive was just a slippery mess. Town plow truck couldn’t move either, was spinning the whole time.
