Merry Christmas all. 38 outside and it is snowrain coming down.
Prayers to all. May all find comfort and peace with family and friends today.

27 degrees, north breeze, going for a high today of 45 according to the NWS. Just doesn't seem much like Christmas this year. This is the first year in the 52 years we've been married that we didn't put up a Christmas tree in the house. And it's the first time in many, many years that I did no decorating outside.

However, we have much to be thankful for and little to complain about, so I reckon when we go to our daughter's later today, it'll still be a

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

45 degrees, enjoyed my coffee out on front porch for awhile, could see my big red candy canes blinking slowly out at the end of the lane.
A very nice morning.
Made a yummy local sausage and aged cheese egg breakfast, not the healthiest but will sure tide me through the morning.
Going to take my coffee in and open some presents given to me by friends and family.
Enjoy going though the normal rituals. Nice breakfast, presents, maybe a walk.

2017 years ago someone walked this Earth who really made a difference.
We can only aspire to walk in his much larger shoes.
Today is the day I get my own personal inspiration, where I have learned from example
that every day is an opportunity for kindness. Believe in doing, not talking about it.
And today we celebrate someone who did the most.

The true joy in a free country is that we all get to believe what we want.
We should celebrate differences and do our best to be tolerant and compassionate.
Am pretty sure that's what Christ would have wanted for all of us.

Merry Christmas! I think a present or two is calling.
And the little kid in me, still there, is champing at the bit.

Good Christmas Morning to you all!!!! 38F @ 4:30AM here just outside Plymouth, CA. Sun and clouds mixed. High near 60F. Winds light and variable.

Someday, Farmer, you’ll look back on this Christmas and be very thankful for the one you’re enjoying then. Not much fun being sick, but know that we’re all pulling for you and it’s just a matter of time before you’re back to 100%.

Completed a fair amount of the motorcycle maintenance yesterday, but got hung up on a couple others from lack of special tools. One electrical gremlin to chase after breakfast, then enjoy rest of day with friends and family.

May peace and hope be with all of you today, and all of your Christmas wishes come true.

Merry Christmas all. 29° and very windy, gusts up to 50mph. Still laying on couch, which is good because i dont hear the wind as much here.
Wife was up a few hrs ago to start the roast in the crockpot. Hats off to her, as she has had to do it all this year.

18F now might reach 30F for high.
Snow started early AM just about 5" has fallen,storm ending late afternoon looks like we'll get 8" or so.
Plans for to today....wellllll not really sure but I'll be ready to help if need be,later today do some snow shoveling,snow blowing might clean roofs off again,plow late tonight or early tomorrow morning????

23 this morning and headed to 34 today. Wind chill 15. Blood needs to thicken more.

Youngest is already up and trying to destroy the tree. He’s got his big stuff will make him wait for the little stuff till big brother is up. #Dont’twakethebear. Both were too excited to go to bed last night. The assembly plant closed shortly after midnight.

Wife is cooking breakfast and then open presents and go to her family’s Christmas. Some time in there I have to take care of chickens and cows.

Merry Christmas to y’all. Be safe and get better. Buckeye the last one is not optional for you.

So much to be grateful for. Our temporary pastor's sermon last night was awesome. He's got a masters degree in apologetics. He's not posting his sermon podcasts online for some reason, maybe because he's too busy. But our motto is "Keeping the main thing, the main thing".

First cup of coffee has been poured. 14° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 21° with more snow. Wife and I have exchanged our Christmas cards this morning. Gave her a new stylus and the IP. A big hug and she has fallen back asleep in her recliner. I got my gift Friday. It's the chipper out in the barn. I did get it out of it's shipping frame yesterday. But it's cold out there. It will be awhile before I get it assembled and ready to use. Enjoyed our Christmas Eve visit with son and his family. Lots of leftover food for todays meal and probably a few more.
Beautiful White Christmas this morning. Got about 4" with more promised for today. Will get out and plow drive and walkway later today.

Good Morning All.

Gave her a new stylus and the IP??? Instant pot and a needle for your record player?

Wifey made me HEB Cafe Ole, water processed decaf, medium bodied with pecan praline and coconut flakes. Quite yummy despite the long winded description. I might have a 2nd large cup. We have a coffee pot like Ron that brews into a stainless thermos.

I made my super duper custom pancakes this morning with help from my oldest. She chopped up some apples into small chunks and I souped up the pancake batter with some sugar, baking powder and vanilla. After I poured the batter into the skillet (is that a word in England), I put a nice sprinkle of fine ground cinnamon on them. They were quite yummy. Now I'm wondering if some nutmeg would have worked for the better.

Chilly here (for us). Near freezing going up to 50's. The sun is bright and shining. I have the blinds open for solar heating. Waiting on 50's to go do anything. I have to go to work tomorrow.

Randy, hope your gravy turns out good. Make sure no lumps in the water/milk/flour....

I feel blessed to consider you all as friends, even if only online for most of you. Many good people here with wide arrays of experience.

I was born in MD (SW of Baltimore...at the time, a little town named Catonsville). Yeah, every few years, we'd get a Nor'easter come through...pretty much shut Baltimore down. This was in the 50'sd and 60's. I was in the Navy most of the 70's, but even in the 80's we still get a whopper now and than...

Took our nearly 6 year old’s present over this morning, he asked if Mom Mom signed it before she left for heaven or if she signed it there. I had to excuse myself.
Kids got me a nice lined over shirt, I wasn’t thinking about gifts in any way, but it’s nice. Nice visit, going to dinner with them later.
