37 this morning and headed to 71 today. Just looked at forecast. NWS has a special weather statement out for us that includes up to an inch of SNOW for Friday night. I can only remember one white Halloween. That was back in the 90's.

In areas above 2500 Ft, places like snowshoe will see the most. It appears the low will track NW to SE into northern North Carolina then develop off the coast. Not a prime thing for snow in our neck of the woods especially this time of year. Any snow that does fall will melt pretty quickly as ground is warm. Hopefully I answered your question

I really do need to educate myself on hearing aids, thanks for the reference.

David MFW: Good luck and keep on keeping on. I've had job interviews where is was obvious I was never going to be considered, and some where it all seemed good but nothing for results. There are usually many 'agendas' going on within a company that you would be totally unaware of as a candidate. It's a frustrating process.

I planted a dozen shrubs yesterday with the help of my visiting friend and we got them done in about two hours. if left to himself, my oldest and closest friend would have finished one in the same time and been pondering the location of the second. We are wired so differently, and we both know it, and laugh at each other. Have to be able to laugh at yourself. I think it's good for you.
Now I have to just butter this muffin by telling you that my friend was a senior civil servant in NJ. And a good one, a real problem solver, and ran a great operation. But if he were a four speed, he never got out of second... A real methodical thinker is not the best digging help but we had great fun together. His place in Delaware is heavily planted and he likes gardening as much as I do. And frankly his garden is always nicer. We dined on the last of his green beans two nights ago, including the purple ones that turn green after cooking. Yum.

ok, friends have left, now to deal with the guys coming in to cut a hole in the side of the kitchen wall for the outside vent.

I HATE looking for work. Personally I compare it to "the oldest profession" because what am I doing but trying to sell myself...

She was pretty cool, former IDF on vacation in Israel but called me anyway. Looks like the decision is still weeks away...
I feel like the front guy, but the last two like this I lost out on.

I need to refill my pipeline of jobs... just in case...

I also need to learn more about hearing aids unfortunately. I have loss in my left ear, mostly tone deafness (when I lay on my right side I cannot hear crickets-LOL)... I also have a form of tinnitus in that same left ear...
