63F foggy clear sky soon w/ temps reaching mid 80's.
Light rain w/high humidity yesterday afternoon put damper on my outside plans,so today kinda make up day until warmth over takes.

off to buy a washer and dryer at the local tiny Sears store. I'm looking for basic white which I'm sure they will have.
I wonder what the big Labor Day bargain will be...

Yes we are having fun and yes I do eat doves as well just been a while but cooked the same way. Nice to see Bird here as well. Today is clean up and travel day

71 this am headed to about 90. Rain is already on its way in forecast says spotty but radar doesn't look spotty. Oh well bird placing day 90 outside 94 inside. So will be hot and humid no matter where I am.

Good luck in the dove fields today. If you like some spice in your food try adding a jalapeño slice ontop of the dove breast and bacon. But I like mine just how you are fixing it. Doesn't look like any place to hunt this year but public land.

We have been dog sitting my sister's Yorkshire terrier for the last week or so. The little guy never shuts down, wants to chase everything, really a bundle of energy. I am now on my wife's IPad , my laptop has issues of some sort. 96 in Michigan would leave me inside!

86 degrees and it feels like 97...
looks like an indoor day today.
took advantage of Sears Labor Day sale and got ten extra percent off a whole new kitchen today, basic nice white stuff, plus w/d. Totalled more than a thousand less than I had budgeted so I am a happy camper. I was in and out of that small hometown Sears in one half hour. Then rewarded myself with a nice breakfast at the Waffle House (super loud in there...)

and then home to boxes. Today's goal is to get the pantry and food unloaded, and then I'll head outside to get sweaty for a bit. Then a shower and nap. And then sit down with the Jackson/Perkins catalog and order roses for the fall.
that's about as much excitement as desired.
