I hear ya ...

I set a bag of trash out in the garage the other day and didn't stick it in the can immediately 'cause there was junk on top of the can that I needed to clear off.

Was a little slow in getting the garage door closed before it got dark ... Rocky or one of his brethren managed to tear into the bag and start feasting on some old spaghetti (no sauce) and moldy bread ... made a real mess.

Last time I tried to put a dent in the 'coon population a couple years ago I think I got 7 or so before I quit.

Wouldn't be surprised if I got at least that many this time around.

Been thunderstorming on and off since around 1:30, I limbed 21 trees yesterday to open up my view to the rear of the property, was planning to move the trimmings today, but with the rain and lightening, guess that's not going to happen. Upper 70's today with storms, getting better by the weekend.

Off to town. Breakfast with wife, take my little girl to Vet, errands.
Got my new exercise bike yesterday. Nautilus R616, only did 30 minutes after I got it together. But I like it.

That sounds like a fine idea. You have sure earned it.
Just have a pad and pencil nearby for what you remember you need to do tomorrow.
But today, find some mint for that tea and put your feet up. All batteries need a recharge.

Thanks, No mint for the tea just brought a start for the mint. It will grow ans spread soon enough. No note pad either, I am not going to set around and think about what needs done, I would be back up and working in about 3 min. Ed

the other machining out some material on the cylinder head to drop the compression a little.
RNG, as in hollowing out the inside, correct? Larger volume, lower compression.
I know if you use thinner head gaskets the compression could go up, so I'm assuming the reverse holds somewhat true.

Well Ed, I was thinking of you sitting by the pool sipping tea as I was running from my abandoned tractor swatting killer bees. They were staying with me, bombarding me, while I was backing out of the blocked road as quickly as I could. I finally shut the tractor down and started running. I did manage not to get stung (had on long clothes and a hat) but they sure follow a long ways. I'm trying to locate a bee hat or netting somewhere in the county but so far no one has any. I might have to go to hobby lobby (30 miles away) and get some netting material and make one. There is a tree down blocking access to the back 40 that will stay there till I get some protection.
( . .and the bees were not even in the tree I was trying to move . .)

Man, You get to do all the exciting things. Glad you did not get stung. :thumbsup: If you sneak in tonight you could dump some gas or diesel on the nest while they sleep. I have done that many times and it worked for me. Ed

They are about 20' up in hollow tree. Here hold my beer while I go up the ladder . . . . they get to stay there for now. The situation might change if I get stung multiple times. They were nice to just warn me the first time.
I'll get a pic tomorrow, I got some netting now.

You must have blown too hard...we just came back into the house from our walk-in crawl space - we had strong thunderstorms and a tornado warning for our part of the county...now just a flash flood warning.
