Well it's not morning any more but it's not because I slept in.
We had a pretty strong wind and rain/snow storm overnight and into late morning. Up to around 90-115 kilometer per hour (60 -70 MPH) and even stronger along the water. Had a tree come down over the power line sometime in the wee hours this morning. Hydro just got the power back on a few minutes ago. Still a bit blustery with some rain but looks like the worst is over. There were over 40,000 people without power, mostly on Vancouver Island. Ferries are still canceled until mid afternoon at the earliest.
