43 now and warming fast. Cannot wait until the sun starts coming out all the time....just like these two critters hogging the sunbeams next to my bedroom computer desk.
Cold and snowy yesterday in the southern tier of Western NY. Today sunny and warm. Spring is definitely in the air... Snow should all be gone in a few days...Yesterdays pics.
OK, maybe 10 inches was a bit of exaggeration... but not much! Here's what it looked like yesterday at my place, after the snow finally quit around 7AM.
Got busy yesterday; our mission to go get an airplane was a "go" after all, so didn't get back until 7PM last night... finished up the last of the snow removal this morning.
Oh- and yes, my Tri-Pacer is now in its hangar at Parlin Field in Newport, NH. It was a nice flight up from PA, but DARK by the the time we got "home"!

Good morning from Southeast Virgina near the Dismal Swamp. God Bless our military!
Beautiful this past weekend and beautiful this week in the 70s. A lot of rain last week means the fields, woods and ditches are overflowing. No winter thus the bugs should be bad..come on lady bugs, praying mantis, bats, purple martins!
Soil is being tested, then this weekend is time to spread the horse/cow composted manure and NutureGreen compost. Then tilling into the soil, placement of the deer and "everything else" fence.
We used saplings for posts last year and they worked well so the same this year. Will plant after the third week of April. The Orka, tomatos, kumatos and peppers are in the planters (garage) and very close. to needing to move out.
Best to all as I work in D.C. to pay for time for the farm.
Coffee is almost done. 62 foggy degrees this morning. Heading to a high of 86 with lots of sun. Pull my back yesterday. Going to be slow for a couple of days.
Good Morning All.
