Good Morning from Central Texas,
Almost 5:30am, 57 degrees with 54 dew point. Headed to mid 80's today, but a cold blast later tonight. Highs tomorrow in the mid 60's and a freeze Monday night.
If anyone has an abundance of rain, please send it this way. We are *very* dry and the next front is forecasted at 0% rainfall. Bought rye grass a few weeks back, but not worth putting out on the rock-hard ground. Been doing some tree trimming, but a burn ban in place so the pile continues to grow.
Feed Cattle range cubes and put out some hay. Then, ?

Good morning tbn! It's 12 degrees on the camp thermometer but it didn't seem that chilly to me and are making pour -over coffee right now. Nice to be in camp with the moon poking through some clouds this morning. The ground is snow covered from the modest snow we got yesterday. Hope everyone has some nice plans for your weekend. Reporting from camp located near Covington Mi.

67 this morning going to 86 this afternoon.
Not a lot yesterday. I did manage to get to HF yesterday to get free moving blanket with ITC.
Kinda planning on a trip there again to day to get free shop towels. May try again tomorrow to get another 50. Can't have to many. May pick up air grinder as the purchase. Or maybe just an airline whip. Plan this afternoon is to go out on the boat. and get packed for a very early departure so we may make it home before dark.
Probably have a couple of Pi**ed off animals. They'll think I been cheating on them with my son's two shepherds and two cats.
Days a wasting so...

time for a second cup.

50 outside right now, heading to lower 70's today. Foggy out, cannot see the front yard or pastures in any direction. Was expecting some rain last night, does not look like it happened. Weather people say a cold front is on its way here tomorrow.

Not much accomplished yesterday. I peeked in on one of the real jobs, same old mass confusion. Seems you cannot lay people off, try and get them back, do that cycle three or four more times and expect them to just return to their jobs. As you see in the news, some people hold scary jobs. This, imho, does not bode well for the future in a lot of things.

Need to run out sometime today and get the game cams. I keep saying that but just have not done it. I got side tracked yesterday cleaning out some kitchen drawers and shredding documents for most of the day. For some odd reason, shredding documents was quite entertaining. My wife has eyeballed my study for a furniture refresh. I have a lot of cabinets to clear out. I really don't need the setup as an office anymore. Unfortunate the man cave idea did not go over very well.

Outside chores done E muffin time.
Plans for today...soon taking backpack blower for long hike,couple wheelbarrow load of wood in basement,later on watch good college football game but most of enjoy the outside weather.

good morning, 51 going to 65

Leaves are cleaned out from around the house. Could have used a more powerful blower

Also blew out the hoses with compressed air getting ready for cold weather

Started to look at medical plans to see if we need to make changes. Wife's prescription plan is usually where there may be an opportunity.
Compared total cost of a years worth of prescriptions and plan costs it seems that the lowest cost is the existing plan.
What helps is that the infusions are considered under Medicare.

Good morning, the low is 22 and going up to 30°F. Wind N 7 mph. 30% chance of flurries.

Got another 1/4" overnight. Went to bed last night at 10 and was up and wide awake at 1. Stayed up until 4 then went back to bed and got up at 7:30. Circadian rhythm is all messed up again.

Today is an energy conservation day. In preparation for the 'big' snow that may or may not come tonight.

60 up in this tree with my muzzleloader listening to cows and crows calling. Had a little shower last night...less than a tenth of an inch.

Still some nice Autumnal colors on the oaks, gums, and beeches...the big winds stripped most of the maples bare.

Scotty, looks like fun with the kids.

BEF, looks like a great train ride. I just watched an hour long documentary on the history of the Norfolk and Western Railway and learned how impressive and important the 611 was to the steam era...that's the one you rode out of Staunton a while back? If Buckingham offers it again, I'd like to book a trip.

Took my wife to the doctor yesterday and she got good news about something she was concerned about. Then to Tex Mex for lunch to celebrate, and Costco and a couple other stores before landing home too late to do my planned chores. Happier to support her than paint prep.

Morning all, 57 to 65 and sunny, some rain last night.
Son is home with girlfriend so we caught up a bit and then off to dinner.
Not sure what I will do today as I was going to split some rounds, but not if they are still wet, and calling for more rain overnight.

Maybe I will check ground and if not still too hard do some aeration.

Lots on the list, will see if I can check any off.

Getting close to moving into winter mode for garage.

Still need to rearrange house garage to take in a few more tables and chairs.
