now I'm really sorry some of you have snowman envy...and glad they allow them here.
seems the kids down the road really liked mine:
My kids are thankful for your holiday cheer, and the biggest snowman they have ever seen.
Its the highlight of going anywhere on Sugan road.

everything went fine this morning dropping off rv, except for the beep.
once a minute something beeps, even with main power turned off. Have no idea where it is coming from, took all
the dash electronics out of there, and it still beeped.
Will need to go back and try to diagnose at some point

yes, when I go back will remove batteries from detectors and see if that helps.

new workbench for garage showed up, heard a big thump and went outside to investigate. Dropped in middle of my lawn, I got my garden cart and hauled it back to garage. Headed out there in a little bit, think I'll put propane heater on, have four full 30 pounds left over from greenhouse, so might as well be warm.

Good Morning!!!! 53F @ 8:30AM. A mix of clouds and sun early followed by cloudy skies this afternoon. High 67F. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph.

Had 2 helicopters buzz my house on way to neighbors yesterday, not happy. I think 20-30 feet above the trees might be a little low.

Does the FAA set minimum altitude requirements over residential areas? I swear I've seen jet airliners over this house less than 100' off the ground. The noise was deafening, and it sure doesn't seem safe.

RNG, I need clarification. Were you going to ride ebikes to intentionally slow down traffic?

We were hoping to get past the Road Closed sign so we wouldn't be sharing the road with cars. Unfortunately, they also posted a No Bicycles sign on the barricade.

Before I started using the Battery Saver chargers, Drew, I installed battery disconnects on the negative terminal of my vehicles. That would surely stop the beep in your MH. Or you could just disconnect the negative battery lead.

First load in new washer took two hours on the default Normal setting. Won't be using that one again.

My buddy was very happy with my old washer. It uses much less water and discharges it at several times in the spin cycle. Their old one drained all at once, and the laundry tub it discharged into would overflow. That doesn't seem to be a problem any longer. We also replaced the fawcet on the laundry tub, which along with their old washer, were leaking. Win-win-win.

Hiked up to the water tanks above the mission Saturday night to catch the sunset. It got dark fast enough that half the hike back down was done with light from the cell phones. We'll take headlamps next time.

Elon woke up the whole house at midnight Saturday with one of his launches from Vandenberg SFB. It's happening pretty much every week now, and the Coastal Commission is more concerned about the impact to wildlife than they are about the citizenry. But that might be enough to impose some sort of curfew so we can sleep through the night.

We just got an update on why we had to go second choice for dinner Friday night.

Seems someone got confused and drove into the restaurant.

So the whole front of the place is trashed.

Seems to happen in that shopping center every few months.

Someone drove into the makeup place earlier in the year and took out the counters and luckily only minor injuries.

Hope no one got hurt in this one.

Good morning all. 33ºF for the start, clear sky. light breeze. Made coffee to start day, After breakfast cleaned up kitchen after yesterday's cooking. Bike ride after lunch and need to work on mower carb, and check Christmas lights.

19°F and cloudy this morning, going up to 30° today. Been snowing here much of the morning, but only a light cover on everything. Surprised, because the couple f times I looked outside, there were some pretty big flakes falling. Voice on the radio this morning said maybe an inch today. We'll see.

Speaking of ponds, I looked out the kitchen window yesterday afternoon and saw something swimming in our pond. Took a few seconds to realize it was an otter. First time seeing one of those at our place. He kept trying to get up on the ice, but it was too thin. When he did get up a few times, it didn't hold very long. He looked like he was having a good time. Fun animals to watch.

Yes bleeding went well. Used a power bleeder pumped up to 15 psi on the fill connection for the master cylinder and flushed about a quart of a gallon of brake fluid through the front brakes
