Happy Mothers Day to all the Mothers out there

67° and .27 inches rain. Likely a mixed day ahead.

I did finish my round of mowing. So a week or so off. Mostly, my times are just estimates but pretty good. Yesterday I looked what I had to do, finished last swath only 5 minutes later than expected.

Mostly piddle about today. I do have a list of things to accomplish before our mainland trip.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

glad you chilled out yesterday RS
you really need to pay attention to the weather there, those systems seem to keep sweeping across.
I personally think tornado shelters are a very, very good idea.
tis the season.

happy to report I fixed the last plumbing issue on rv, the bidet supply line, using the
proper sized 1/2 to 3/8 brass fitting, one strong enough to tighten down on. Plus the new flat rotatable
electric plug worked perfectly.
I am ready for my throne.

first rose came out yesterday, lots more on the way
should be red, pink, white and yellow roses growing in there
still having problems with using phone pic transfer

but glad I looked under hood
of rv. Looks like someone was having his lunch there.
I was putting a smart charger on the truck battery when I saw this
little contribution of nature.

I'm watching the radar now, it looks like the impending storms will go north of us, probably brushing Don and Caren. (Don, is your wife's name spelled with a C? )

Don, sounds like y'all are "on a mission" to get going. I hope the closing goes smoothly. No unexpected hurdles.

My 14yo son has a "friend who's a girl" now. He's doing things I haven't seen him do before. Like taking showers with out having to yell at him to "GO TAKE A SHOWER"! He's got acne and is trying to stay clean to help reduce it.
The storms were just to the North of us but we did get .2"
Besides getting flooded from the AC in the attic and damaging the insulation and sheetrock that has been the only unexpected hurdle. I will check to be sure it is all fixed by closing.
With a "K".
Here is a podcast that you can read the transcript below to help reduce acne by a trusted Dr.

Sometimes I feel like I wish I lived in a home with a postage stamp sized lawn....and a small tree in the middle for shade.
I did too until I almost bought one like that. I don't think could go to a house on a lot with a itty bitty lawn. But I could go to a high rise condo easier. It's a paridagm shift that I have experienced before when I was working in Houston for over a year. I lived at the Hilton on Post Oak. Garage parking, elevators, pool, sauna, workout room, restaurants, a lot of reasons to like it. Most high rise condos I've seen have similar. Some hotels now have residential condo floors.

Now, that could not be my only place as long as I am physically able to handle cattle, fix fence, dig in the dirt and mow grass. If I had a reason to live in Houston again I would be in a condo or hotel/condo. Small car that can get through traffic and park really easy. No real maintainence to do, just come home prop up your feet and have a drink. Hit the freeway on Thursday afternoon and head for the Hills.
