Good morning!!!!

How about tapping a thicker steel plate to accept the tie down and welding it in place, or perhaps use rib nuts if they will clear the obstruction above the fuel tank.
This thing as way too many electronic devices on it to risk welding, Paul.

The uncollapsed length of the rivnuts is 19mm, but they'll only go into the holes 8.5mm before they hit the obstruction.

In the photo that shows the 1/2" thick steel plate mounted in place, the four holes in the plate that have no bolts in them are the ones that are obstructed. There's about an inch either side of center that is not obstructed, near the hex shaped hole and the smaller round hole. I could install two more rivnuts there, but they'd have to be squeezed together a bit to avoid the two existing holes. Or I could just enlarge those existing holes for the rivnuts, but I'm too OCD for that...

Did you check if the attachments points may be there already but covered up. I think the sprinter has the nuts welded in even if it was not ordered

Mousehog ouch and welcome to the Good morning thread.

So it looks like I can get a Energy Kinetics Ascent combi installed for about 13,500.
Adding on an external storage tank is at least $4-5000, though I think if I need it I can do it later on. The EK 2000 setup would be 18,000 installed.

EK is local in NJ and Crown is local in PA, but none of them spec'd Crown so far.

The mini split heads showed up, but not the compressor unit. Parts seem to show up randomly each day with no invoices. Almost ready to install the external disconnect and spike arrestor, but it would be nice to have the outside unit so I can mock up the placement .

More loans, more wife screaming. Such happiness.

On my Jeep, there are hidden tie downs under the carpet. Fingers crossed RNG, but knowing you, these would have been found a long time ago.

RNG, only for the road.
my driveway is very protected, in lee of woods or house

If I had a nice weather screen on my dash, like I might on a good marine chartplotter/radar unit,
I might try to outrun a storm. But in the middle of Kansas, I have no idea where to go.
I'd rather get in early, since most bad storms seem to come in mid to late afternoon, and then take the time to
tie down the rv. Obviously no awning out and likely no slide out either. Really depends upon what campground layout is like.
might not be a good idea to be under a big tree in a storm. If something was big and iffy too close to me, yes I'd move until storm passed.

I check the upcoming weather every morning before I get on the road.
When I have my coffee in the morning, I'm checking the weather radar.
winds over 20mph start making driving too hard, 30 mph gusts are downright exciting.
If it is going to be windy, will have to drive extra slow.

hands and arms sore, tried to wax the impossible place on the rv, the eyebrow over the windshield.
It really needs to be power buffed but I don't have scaffolding like the rv dealer did. Rest of rv is fine,
shiny and looks good. But that upper eyebrow is flat, no shine left. A little bit now after using cleaner wax.
but could not reach the middle or the tops.

74 psi in right rear tire this morning, was 71 yesterday. Sun must have been hitting the tire. Should be 80 cold.
Ordered a new tire inflator, that comes in tomorrow and will hook it
up to my compressor and top off the tire.
Needed a better solution to take with me on trips so also ordered the Makita cordless air inflator. Compact and hopefully powerful, takes up least amount of room
in storage. I've tried DC Vi-Air units before, they were heavy though well made. I already have two Makita batteries on board, so this makes sense for me.

Is that a real estate value based tax?
It's based on a Government assessment, done every 3-4 years.

The assessment $ amount truly scares the he11 out of me as my property has quadrupled in value since I bought it 25 years ago, yet my 'rates' have remained quite reasonable. Were I to sell, I'd get a LOT more for 'Wagtail Park' than what it's been assessed for.

70 outside right now, heading to upper 80's. 98% humidity. Slight, ever so, rain. Is there a term right below drizzle but above fog?

Hope all have a great day today. Be safe. Those ailing, best wishes for better health.
A wee Highland mist? :)

Good (Thursday) morning. Overnight Low of 4.1C and it's presently 13.5, mostly overcast with a slight breeze. There was 0.5mm in the gauge @ 0800.

All tasks 'in town' accomplished yesterday.

Today, I have a 'foot dude/farrier' appointment (in about a half hour from now) to have my toenails clipped and calluses tended to. It's a Type 2 diabetes sort of thing.

Nothing else planned after that.

So, that's about it, take care all.
