Good morning!!!!

Poured first cup of coffee. 57° with a few clouds this morning. Heading to 83° with scattered showers and thunderstorms in afternoon. Did cut a couple more pieces of trim for chicken coop yesterday. This time of year it is in direct line with sun. Gets very hot in a short time. Then it rains in afternoon. A little rain that takes over an hour to fall. Seems like I am spending more time getting tools and material out. Than getting anything done. Well I knew it would take awhile to get this done.

TXdon, Kitty will fit right in at your place.

David, I never took Home Ed. My mother taught us kids to darn socks, sew, cook and house keep. In school I took several years of shop, math and drafting. I went on a apprenticeship for Toolmaker. After graduating from the course I got a job as a machine builder. Worked that for about a year before I became a Field Technician. Did that Job at same company until I retired in from 1968 until I retired in 2004. Never really got to use my Toolmaker education for the next 35 years.

Everyone stay safe and well.

Good Morning All.

good morning all
66 out now, mid 80's and cloudy today, normal summer weather, just happy it's not hotter.
The temps in the S/W are unreal. I wonder how hvac is keeping up with it.

have a quart bag of cherry tomatoes to give to someone today, I can only eat so many...
most of the rest of the tomatoes will come in during next two weeks, I'll be chopping some up and freezing them.
Just nice to make a red sauce using at least some of your own tomatoes.

hope you all have a good day

Good morning! WOW! 10˚ cooler this morning at 69˚ and only heading to 100˚ instead of 105˚ like it has been every day this week.
New kitty is wandering around exploring his new home. Got so much to do, but for now kitty and I will enjoy the sunrise on the back porch.

Don, I'm still thinking about how much you did for your mom so she could stay on the ranch.
We were lucky to have a lot of people in place to help, her sister and sister-in-law who lived nearby, a house cleaner/personal aid, a home nurse practitioner and home health company, lawn mowing company, Two cattle companies to graze cattle and bale hay to keep the Ag exemption, A cousin with a fence company to repair/replace cattle fence, a at home hair dresser, her pastor visited frequently for home communion, and I was the coordinator, grocery boy, kept her supplied with anything she needed and home repair and handled her finances.

70 outside this AM. Mid 80's expected. Maybe a t-Storm moving in later.

Clean start to the day. Nothing on the agenda, yet. Boss is still sleeping, though.

More yard work is in order, weed whacking, around the houses mowing, pick 'em up sticks, burn pile visits.

Need to check RTV fluids, engine overheated on wife yesterday late. Odd.

Hope all have a great start to the work week. Be safe.
