Good evening all. 79ºF for the start. clear sky. light breeze. Moderate wind with brisk gusts much of the day, sky stayed clear, and high temp was 105ºF. HI 109ºF. Men's meeting to start day, then do some house cleaning and outside cleanup. No wood stacking, did give trimmer a walk. Came in halfway around yard, wife was sleeping. Did get nap in today .
RS good to see the garden come together, looks like your hole burner working good now. Hope you and your wife can agree on music
Buppies you are up way early, hope you got a nap in. That is what happens when you become the primary care giver of your wife. prayers sent.

Coffee has finished brewing. 63° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 80° with good chance of Thunderstorms. Got some more trim done on Chicken coop. But had to quit because sun made it too hot to work. Got smoker out and did some pork loins for dinner. Had visitors rest of the day. So nothing else got done. Grocery shopping this morning. Then hope to get grass mowed before storms move in.

69 going to 89. Clear skies.

After doing some chores, watched 1937 movie, Prisoner of Zenda with my wife to cool off. Lots of fun. Then went for a hike before sunset.

67 outside this AM. Heading to 90. Nice morning fog over the pastures. Looks like a walk with the weed whacker is in order today.

Found the multi-meter. It was in the house. I forgot I keep most electronics in the house. The ZTR PTO switch looks good. That must mean the clutch is out. Beyond my limited expertise. It will require getting under the ZTR and torque on belts and whatnot. Not happening. I need to find a dealer to see what they can do and how fast they can turn it around. One thing I don't have here is a flat bed trailer. So pickup and delivery costs come into play too.

I should take the time to hop in the pool, you know, before summer is over. The water looks pristine. That will get the mind clear of all the noise going on and things on the list.

Not to many frogs in the koi-less pond this year. Lots of turtles. Not many turkey sightings this year. And one lone deer is all I see in the evening. Wonder where everyone went?

Wife called VDOT for road maintenance. It was a comedy show. "...this is miles of road to maintain". "we cannot do that..." "who did by your driveway?..." "this road is contracted out..." "who said we maintain it?..." "how did you get a work order in?..." "where is the road you want done?..." ROTFL.

Hope all deal with the weather in a good way. Here, just hazy, hot and humid. Been fortunate not to have the extremes. Be safe in your under takings today. Enjoy the day.

Probably hasn’t moved in over a month, but then neither has the big tractor. With hydro fluid in the front end, this is common with a lot of heat. Just need to top it off, or the book say you can use gear oil instead.

My weather station keeps dropping off my network, and I keep having to power cycle it.
66° and .5” rain overnight. I heard storm about 1 am, radar showed we were on south side of a passing cell. Our first rain in awhile.
Having breakfast with my wife at a diner over the mountain, or the other side of the AT. Then she will pick up some ham salad she ordered from a Mennonite shop.
After that, who knows. Not much getting done by Me lately.
