Good morning! 74° now, high of 82° with rain likely.

Just never took the plunge to become a proficient painter @Kyle_in_Tex. There are people who do that work that are extremely good at it. I let them do it.

Not sure what I will get into today. There is always something.

Morning, 82 going up to 85 and off to the Tinicum arts festival.
Caught up with an old friend who moved from New Hampshire to Chesapeake, ended up on the phone for quite a while.

M7040 - hope all goes well with daughter, rough to hear about the rest, very traumatizing to lose a baby.

Spent a few using the new M18 pump to get the spare lawn tractor up and put the broken deck on it to get it out of the way, and a walk in town after a drink to close out the night.

Oh Ron, I'm so sorry to hear. Is one of these the "aunt" you spent a lot of time with? Prayers and condolences my friend.

Yes. that Aunt died last week. My Aunt that died yesterday was younger. While we were growing up she lived next door. It was a close family. 5 boys and 5 girls. They will all be missed.

beat the rain system coming across Ohio, saw it over to my right as I was coming down Michigan, pretty dark around Toledo but made it here to Mogadore Ohio s/e of Akron

pretty sticky out, thankful for a/c in rv. I just don't do well in the heat.
made a sandwich, now going to lie down. I put a pot of coffee on so I don't fall asleep on RS. Keeping an eye on radar, storms, hail, possibly coming

as I told Ron, the only boater that never dings a prop is one that never leaves the dock. So....as long as my little dingees are little, so be it.
I'm just thankful I'm physically able to do this though heating pad going on neck soon.

gas was the cheapest here I've seen in years. 2.89 for regular Mobil.

Good Morning!!!! 62F @ 9:30AM in sunny Lompoc. Partly cloudy skies. High 67F. Winds NW at 15 to 25 mph.

Got a good start on framing the roof yesterday. Should get the rafters on and sheetmetal today. Also need to make a door, but that might be stretching it.

One of my first friends moving to the Big Island was a Kubota owner on TBN. We met online before either of us moved. He and his wife are still good friends who live just a couple miles away. Was good to see them at out 4th of July gathering.
They are chocolatiers now and their chocolate very good.

Breakfast on the mountain with most of the crew. They were short staffed and slow again today, but since we just sit around chatting it don’t matter. The new young girl was our waitress again.
AC on Subaru not working well. Compressor won’t kick on at times. Was hot the other day on our drive, and again today. Sometimes I can turn it off then back on and it will kick in.
Didn’t sleep well last night, I was up till at least 2am, wife till about 5 am. She came downstairs and read awhile in the night.
Good to see Buppies check in.

I’m still kicking around inexpensive small cabin ideas for our VA land. I have designed 2 house layouts already, but I want something to use until we decide to live there.

88° and sunny. Need to finish mowing, maybe later if it cools down some.
