I got a couple hrs of seat time. Neighbor called and asked if I would disc 5 acres. The field is overgrown with wheat and weeds. Patches up to 5-7 ft tall in Mustard. All dried out - plenty of allergic irritants! I wore a mask - They do have a use after covid :p
1800 rpms 4wd medium range the disc is a Towner with hydraulic steel wheels. Actually I made them hydraulic many yrs ago. When I got it they were hand crank !? This attachment is as old as me.
Good fire prevention- fire season is upon us.
Music headphones rocking on. Will finish up tomorrow night.
Have a good night

Good evening all. 77ºF for the start, mostly clear, light breeze. light wind, mostly clear sky,and high temp 100ºF, HI 113ºF. putter then bike ride, Peugeot back tire flat, so took Volagi. Drinking first cup of coffee. 52° with fog this morning. Heading to 80° with partly cloudy skies. We are back to bad air from western forest fires. Garden pond water is very clouded. Spent couple hours cleaning up pond for better water clarity. Then took tractor and chainsaw to clean up a pine tree on north property line that had large limbs broken off. Neighbor that I share the property line with showed up. Lets do all 8 trees before they fall too. Let him use my battery chainsaw to cut the limbs off. While I loaded tractor and hauled limbs to fire pile. Got all trees done. But both of us were tired. Tree guy showed up. But did not have his equipment. Will be a couple weeks out because storms Sunday and Monday is requiring lots of extra work. I can wait. Not sure what I will get into today.

up early, no reason to, just mind buzzing
now helped by first cup of coffee.
64 out going to 80, rain is done BUT
smoke is not
geez. not a good time to travel West but I'm off this morning for the Poconos.
at least the highs during the day in Michigan will be 80 and 60 at night.
Bet you folks in Texas would like a dose of coolness.

going to just take my time this morning, can't leave until 10am anyway, 1pm check in at campground

drained the hot tub last night. Seems I have a leak. Will deal with that when I get home. think it's a pump connection, not
the tub itself. Had a long hot soak, last one for a while.

have had so many problems with turn signals I had to check them one more time yesterday. Thankfully all came on.
I never got to install the extra lights I have, ran out of time.

beautiful Bird Ron
I hope to see him on Friday afternoon when I pull into your driveway.

No check in time at my place.

No check in time at my place.
I'll be at Knox PA the night before, about a four plus hour drive to you.
I'm figuring five, or more, due to traffic. Sometime after lunch. One of my longer drives, across Ohio and up into MI.

I wish there was a way to input max speed into gps, so that it would recalculate time to arrival based on not doing 70 or 75mph speed limit.
Software always calculates based on speed limit and I drive slower. So I have to add time.
no problem.
I tend to drive at speed limit otherwise in rv, where I would be going at least 5mph faster in car.
particularly in small towns.
time to smell the roses.
Too bad I can't open the windows due to the smoke...

sun is coming up and it looks foggy out. or is it ?
