Be interesting to see where this goes “ Germans are working on 100 percent synthetic diesel fuel” for vehicles trucks etc.

If lubrication oil can be synthesized from natural gas, fuel should be no big deal, except Germany has some issues with input energy… how’s that BASF shutdown going?

finished mowing the lawn, was nice to do it without dust in the air. Very pretty out after the rain and a mostly blue sky.

Local supermarket here now carries Gen-U-Wine Taylor Pork Roll in the 1-1/2 lb canvas sack. $14 for what used to be cheap peasant food when we lived in NJ!!!!

When I worked in Trenton, I also used to go right to the Case’s factory and buy from the front office - five pound rolls of Jersey F’ing AWESOMENESS!!!!!!

Good (Wednesday) morning. Overnight Low of 4C and it's presently 13.2C, fairly clear and calm.

All 'tasks' completed yesterday. Especially that hanging (barberchair/'widowmaker') wattle tree. After using my "sawzall" to get all of the non-supporting thicker branches, I decided to use my manual, bladed pole saw to attack where the tree 'join' was. It allowed me, at full extension, to stand-off safely whilst sawing. Of course it then dropped and hung-up on the trunk. A bit of manual pushing/pulling freed it up and it dropped safely. Chainsaw to finish up & transported to the branch/debris pile.

Today is 'into town' day for mail, groceries and I'll probably fill up the ute with petrol.

That's about it, take care all.

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

Happy Flag Day!

51.3F, going to low 70s, afternoon T’storam forecast. Probably just in time for our Home Cheapo delivery… allegedly it should be before lunch (we are #4 on the truck). Allegedly. . .

finished putting the tiller back together! Tightened the last screw, pulled the handle, started right up. Put it in reverse, worked fine, put it in forward, worked fine. Picked it up a bit for the times to clear the blacktop, put it in gear - times are spinning! Walk it down to the little garden patch at the other side of the house, start tilling, works fine UNTIL I find a pice of wood and it jams the tiines. Shut down, pull it out, everything still works… until it picks up a root and wraps and binds, and now the tines freewheel… so I have to open up the transmission again and find out what happened.

went up to the woodlot and mulched all th plants and gave them a good soaking, next time up will be working on supports for the tomatoes. I also need to clear out around the grapes and get them trained onto the fence — after I reshoot that with new wooden posts, since the old ones are OLD and rotted out.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 48° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 74° with partly cloudy skies. Dr. visit went good. PSA is now .09. But still need to get another MRI. Got eye glasses nose pieces replaced. Neighbor has family visiting from Singapore. Took Sassy over for a visit with their 3 young kids. Sassy likes to play with young kids. Afternoon was a wash out with rain all afternoon. .15" of rain. Need to move limb pile today. Then mow grass. It has grown overnight from a little rain.
Today is National Flag Day.
I replace flag on Flag Day every year. Flag I put up last year has held up very well.

Ron, thanks for reminder. I have a brand new flag and this would sure be a good day to put it up.

going to be cooler and wet today, system in mid West yesterday coming through today

will head out later and buy a new pressure washer, likely HF. It seems to be the same quality as the other 120 dollar washers on market, just
forty bucks cheaper. But then this one only lasted about 30 hours, not very impressive. I just don't do enough to dig deep darling for a nice Northern Tools
electric washer. Ten times more expensive. I had one on the farm and needed the high pressure. Now I don't. There are some decent 300 dollar gas models but I really really don't want another engine to maintain. But I do want more than 30 hours out of the next one...

my sister is in Tuscany with her two kids and four grandchildren. One of those lifetime family get togethers.
