Good Morning
43 and supposed to make it to the low 70’s today, another smokey day.
Here’s the sun coming up.

Doesn’t look much different than the afternoon sun yesterday.

Yesterday ended up being constantly busy. After breakfast did some computer work for the FAA, they issued a mandate that all pilot records for air carriers had to be entered into their “Pilot Records Database” by June 15. However their system isn’t robust enough to service everyone. So far about 80% of the times I have tried to make entries it’s been unusable.

So when it slowed to a crawl, we headed off to Costco.
The roof on the shop is 27 years old, it’s time to tear it off and replace it. This time I used an amazing powerful tool which I very rarely pull out. My wallet.
The material was delivered yesterday, as well as the dumpster for the old roofing.

They say it will be done today, I’m not sure how big of a crew they are bringing, but it’s a 10/12 pitch with dormers, so not the easiest job.

Costco had Brisket for $3.59 a pound for full packers. So I decided to get one and some pork shoulders to feed the roofers. Loaded the smoker up late yesterday afternoon, and it was ready this morning. Pork is pulled, and is in the Cambro along with the wrapped brisket.

Neighbor came over with the stainless top for their pool filter with some pinholes in it. Sealed them up with silver solder, and told them to come for lunch today.

Good morning, 52 going to 75 with worse smoke pollution this morning. Used a mask walking Cody this morning.

Drew happy your trip is going well and you enjoy it. Pull through means no backing up and safe from more damage.

Daughter came out to help yesterday but we decided to wait for smoke to be gone before starting a couple of projects on the list

David glad Sophies appointment went well. I still go for regular check ups after the detached retina surgery.

Thanks for comments on daughter

She has a new issue to check out with a growing lump being painful

The new coffee maker makes great coffee and it is simple with just one off and on switch. No gimmicks.
When we use up the bags of ground coffee plan to get the burr grinder and buy beans next time we need to buy coffee

good morning all from Millsboro Delaware.
slept like a rock, pretty tired, woke up to not my normal birds chirping but some seriously loud seagulls squawking away. All good.

weather is not going to cooperate today, likely on and off rain
no plans this morning other than putting stuff away from last night.
I have to take down the barbecue and clear up outside, particularly if it's going to rain.

headed out for an early golf cart ride to take some pics

Frits, pull thru's make this easy for me. I did have to unhook the trailer though because angle of site would cause rv auto leveler to pick up the trailer too. I raised the jack way up so it would clear, then pushed the level button on the rv. Up it came and picked up the trailer two inches.
hmmm, not good. Raised the jack a little more and all was well. Not a heavy trailer anyway.

I think an electric trailer jack is in the plans. Must take me six hundred turns of that jack handle, well feels like it...

sniffly nose and itchy teary eyes getting old. Doesn't smell outside but very grey.

some flies got in the rv yesterday and can't find my swatter. That will be a priority. I'm happy to open the door and have them fly out. Wish they were that smart...

Congratulations to your daughter she learned a lot from Mom and Dad
All our kids had the same upbringing and guidance but she was able to take full advantage of it and she had those built in genes work for her.
Even when she was just a few years old it was noticed

Morning 48 going up to 77 and still hazy.
Spent some time fixing kids bike shifter, needs replacing but I got it working for now, just worn out. Had to wear a mask the smoke is so thick.

Been a rough week, another co-worked died, he had a bad heart attack last year and it seems never fully recovered.
An old high school buddy died from ALS, had been keeping in touch with him, hard to see him wasting away.

Now to lighten up a bit, and of course wife is angry at me again.

On tips #9 was very pissed with a Brazilian group of 20 being served dinner and drinks for the evening and only being tipped 35 dollars even though she was commended for her efforts. Being tourists not familiar with customs may have something to do with it
