47F and cloudy @ 11:00, currently under a "Dense Fog Advisory. Heading up to a high of around 50F. LWS reports 0.13 of rain since midnight, 0.04" yesterday.
Not much action at the feeder this morning, single crow walking around on the ground. Bunch more over in the neighbor's woods though. Probably need to check it and see if it needs refilled.
Large flock of starlings out foraging over on the east side though:
There were many more beyond those, up towards the front.
Decent progress yesterday.
Another 18+ gallons of water drawn, pre filters for HOB filters cleaned out. One HOB cleaned out, also gravel vacuumed on several tanks.
Found a large, dark Julidochromis dickfeldi hiding in one of the tanks that I didn't know was still in there. Also the Neolamprologus multifasciatus seem to have quite a colony going in their tank. Have one of those upstairs I need to move down.
Four containers of white worms tended and fed, probably going to take a while for them to recover and recolonize.
Got sediment drained out of water heater, probably had to dump 35+ gallons of water to do it. Will likely hit it one more time today and see if any more crud comes out.
Some cleaning done in utility and family rooms, also more organizing of hardware.
More tools and grow bags moved downstairs. Now have the stuff necessary to hook up the stove pipe to the wood furnace.
Found out I have more time on the Medicare/insurance, so that can be put off for at least a little while. Woman did get her plan changed though.
Agenda for today:
Finish sediment drain of water heater.
Clean furnace filter.
Check brine tank for softener.
Check pre charge on water tank.
More work on unloading shelves along the south wall of utility room.
Probably more vacuuming and clean back there too.
Plus whatever else comes up.
Hope everyone has a good Hump Day ...
