Very mild outside but very humid 58 currently>

Went for a drive that wife likes down to West Virginia. Always a pretty drive. Took a picture of restored barn that we had followed during restoration of the stone foundation, replaced floors and siding as well as wood shingle roof. It is now in the original condition as it was in the 1800's

Shows what can be done when money is not an object.
It does look beautiful and I would love to see the inside.
I grew up working in plain bank barns with low ceilings,
most people were bumping there heads daily while working, looking down while feeding or carrying milk pails,
or shoveling the gutters out to clean the barn.
So while I can admire the workmanship in the old post and beam structures and the appearance of a restored old barn.
I can remember vividly the unfriendly working conditions in those old barns,
so my enthusiasm for them is somewhat lessened.

Looks beautiful and they should be very proud of their work, but I wonder at the practicallity of all those small doors. I guess it depends on what it is/will be used for.
