Morning all! 19 going to a cloudy 33 today. It was so windy yesterday that the neighbor's trampoline is now in my back yard!
Friday and Saturday are supposed to be the warmest days of the week, so I will head out to the apartment house and get things ready for snow then.
Not much going to happen today with this weather. Going to keep the pellet stove humming along. Think I'm going to bake up a batch of oatmeal cookies for Thursday. After that I will help the wife get started with what ever we can get prepped for the holiday.

about to head downstairs for coffee and something to nibble on. Most of the hotel breakfasts are pretty unhealthy, maybe I'll be surprised.

then a busy day. Driving Miss Daisy (elderly friend here) where we will do lunch in town and then dinner tonight at my old neighbors.

BEF, speaking of December 7, I'm reading a great book on WWII in the Pacific now. Recently finished one on WWII in Europe. Well researched and written. From the "Killing" series by Bill O'Reilly. I don't think they teach enough proper history in school...so you know what they say...those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it.

Will venture into the woods today for more firewood. Also need to weed wack the back pastures fence line. Should be a great day for both.

Lucky no drama from the family get together. FIL was released from Hospital. They obviously have no clue, and since the patient is very opinionated and set in their ways, a repeat is probably going to happen in a few days. Something is not right. My BIL returns to FLA this AM. He is looking fit and trim, so that is good. He has a lot on his plate.

Hope all have a good start to the work week. I saw holiday traffic yesterday on I95 and I66 was definitely underway.

16° now, mostly sunny today. Highs in the mid/upper 30s. SW winds around 10 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

To darn windy yesterday to get anything done outside so took a conserve energy day. No real plans for today just see what happens.

Ron, glad your son can visit for thanksgiving.

I told dad I wasn’t coming because I’m sick. I probably will feel better by then, but I’m not sure how long I’m contagious.

Called boss, he was ok. Said I didn’t even sound like me.

16° was our low, now up to 19° with sun out.
