Got water/pressure back. May be victim of 2 unrelated actions.
When I replaced my sediment filters in July I replaced 1st in line with a 5 micron instead of 10 or 20. In Aug I rehabbed my pressure tank in Aug I suspect I liked loosed up 15 years of sediment
This is my spin down filter

This the 5 micron filter

Cleaned the spin down, replaced the 5 micron and carbon block filters.

Enjoyed a very nice hot shower.

Reordered a supply of filters and giving serious consideration for replacing the pump which is 10 years old. Thinking it might be wise to replace and keep the still functioning old one for emergency. Wife agrees.

Wagtail, from now until next April IF I was to total up all the snow we get it would probably equal 4+ feet or 120 cm. You are welcome to all of it, in April in one dump.:ROFLMAO:
As long as it happens after the 26th (ANZAC Day), that'd be fine. It'll be Autumn then. Right now we're only a fortnight away from the 'official' start of Summer.

The town of Oatlands was covered in the white stuff this morning and it's only 84km North of Hobart.

I copped more, albeit light, rain today so no stacking was accomplished. The horses were transferred though during a drizzle.

Coffee is done brewing. 32° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 38° with some sxxw in afternoon. Grocery shopping to fill freezer went very well. Got enough food until next month. Got an appointment for grooming Sassy. Got her there. I went off to local pharmacy and got my flu shot. I can now hunker down while the bad weather makes it's way east. No plans for today.
Sandhill Crane couple look like they plan to spend the winter at my place.

David, your water filters look like mine after 3 months.

Everyone stay well and safe.

Good Morning All.

Ron, marvelous picture. That bird has a see thru beak!
I wonder if it's a breathing hole while rest of beak is underwater looking for dinner.

I have seen the cranes dig holes in the grass. Sticking their head all the way to their eyes. At the park close to my house they do not spend much time near water. They eat what is available. At my place they eat what seed is dropped from bird feeders and insects in the ground. I have seen them catch mice and moles.

Morning all, 27 going up to 46 and first heavy frost, cloudy now.
Garage clean out ongoing, wall prep, removal of hangers, shelves etc.

BEF - a mans gotta know his limitations - Retirement with your activities should be fun, new property etc. Hope your health issues go away once the work stress and commute stop.

Wife was agitated yesterday, not fun. Seems to have settled down late last night.
Hopefully she will start feeling better soon.

See the vultures circling, they can sense the levitating buck in the woods, will probably find it today.

back to meetings.

Be well and take care of yourselves.

Good Morning.
It’s 23 and will top 40 before it starts raining this afternoon.

Yesterday was another busy day. Started with a wake up call from the wife that a painter was coming and I had to move things and get ready for him. The good news is that I wasn’t painting.

Then got back to the lighting project for her display racks. I got it all done, the uprights worked out well, the brackets that hold the light just slip over the top of the EMT. They were made out of aluminum because that was the material that I had laying around

Won’t be in the shop today, I’m headed up to Bangor, ME overnight. I’ll be back tomorrow early afternoon. In time to collect the trash and recycling and get it to the street.
