Back down to 38F and still cloudy @ 15:15.

The big buck was chasing a big doe all around the house this morning:

Refueled scissors lift, 4 gallons of diesel that The Woman picked up just topped it off with very little room to spare. Moved it up by the shop so the driver won't have to drive all the way down here with that long gooseneck trailer. OTOH, if they don't show today I'll have to move back down here by the house.

Emptied out the remaining water in the WB into the area I excavated inside the barn chasing the groundhog burrow to get it to settle.

Contractor was up at the neighbor's with a tracked skid steer tearing down his pasture fence. Apparently he did find someone to put up a new one ...

Woman ran down and got us a couple of McMuffins and Hashbrowns.

After that I sent her out to get some more Stihl HP Ultra oil for the premix along with a gallon of E0 gas for the leaf blower and pole saw.

Got the front lawn pretty much finished up as far as mowing/mulching goes. Pretty chilly out there, had to stop 3 times to come in and get warm. Still trying to get my feet warmed up. That will be it outside for today.

Brought in the cordless drills, still need to put the batteries on the chargers.

Probably going to work on getting the track for the plant lighting put up in the dining room.

There's been some discussion as far as getting back into the master bath remodel, mainly pushing Her to figure out what She wants.

Still need to take the trash up to cans at the road.

29F clear sky windchill 22F over night ted upper teens 4am this morning snowflakes dancing in the air.
Granite stone bird bath didn't thaw today.
Work day pass quicky,have lunch and Mrs. ask if I could help with little project (my alarm didn't go off in my head ) almost 3 hours later all furniture in living room remove carpet shampoo,than rearrange furniture back in living room....I'm done for today feet up!!!!

Really no plans for the evening just take as comes.

49˚F. New Tempest weather station has been easily replaced and memory transferred. Battery voltage is 2.6 - "Good"

The hardest part was getting the old plastic mounting bracket off of the metal pole, had to chisel it off.

Today not a great one for me. Woke at 3:30 for bathroom, couldn’t get back to sleep. Left a little early for work, but with time change the sun is now horrible on a clear morning. Interstate came to a standstill because of blinding sun. Car, oblivious to what was going on flew by me in left lane. I was expecting a huge crash, but it locked up the tires, then took the shoulder to avoid the collision.

But I wasn’t feeling good all day. Sort of light headed, but also my legs just aching real bad. I had to take a long walk to get something, and wasn’t sure I was going to make it. Sat awhile when I got there, then wasn’t sure I would make it back to my office.
Decided Dec 30 is my last day and submitted my retirement papers.
Then told my new boss. That was rough. I ended up having to explain to him some of my health issues, and my legs sometimes don’t feel like working and how my feet are always in pain. He understood

Good (Tuesday) morning. L4N, I know that you were joking about sending some of your snow my way but KNOCK IT OFF! ( ) The overnight Low was 3C and presently it's struggling to reach 10C. Yes, snow is predicted at higher [700 metres] elevations, which doesn't include me, just some more rain. There was 25.9mm in the gauge at 0900, it's overcast with a SW wind.

Not much on for today. If the rain is light I'll probably get stuck into stacking more wood. Later on the "Mad [agisting] Horse Woman" would like to transfer her horses into Paddock #6.

If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? I assume you've talked to your doctor about all the different things? I understand if you don't want to answer, I'm just concerned.

Just had a physical. All was good.
I got cold mowing leaves yesterday. I think I’m coming down with something from that.

Wife & I had Covid, I'm sure a variant two months ago. We became exhausted. Walking to get mail was a chore. Flu-like symptoms, sore and mild headache. I recovered in a few days, wife still has a cough and about at 90%. The test kits are either free or inexpensive.

Good evening all. 39ºF for the start, overcast, breezy. Light wind, rain most of day, High temp was 40ºF at 8AM, loe temp forecast to be 36ºF at midnight. Not much beyond puttering and youtube rabbit hole today, and baby sitting fire. Did get nap in. Blancolirio channel had interesting report on Dallas mid-air collision.
