good morning all
great job on tractor extrication David. You guys managed to do it all and not even get tractors dirty!
off to run errands this morning, dropping off some apples to friend with wife who just learned she had breast cancer.
That's five friends at the moment with cancer. I sent her a big fleece comforter last week; sent back a pic of her wrapped in it.
And her eyes were wide and sort of in shock, she is very body conscious and the idea of a mastectomy is really frightening to her.
She tries radiation first. My friend's wife where I had dinner last night also had breast cancer, and did fine. It's helpful to tell one friend how
well another did. Whole thing is scary at beginning. Wasn't for me, only scared for my wife when she got sick.
Most of us are fix it guys and being unable to fix your sick wife is not much fun.
getting my car washed at good car wash in Newtown, only one in area that does a really nice job. Then off to NAPA to pick up some Pri-D for my
brother's diesel tractor. House present when I visit at Thanksgiving. Apples and Pri-D; what more could a man want?
Oldest brother is like my father, both attorneys, both confused by an adjustable wrench.
When I got sick, and wasn't sure I was coming back anywhere, I gave my Kubota RTV-400 and my log splitter to brother in VA.
So I'm taking him a care package of Sea Foam, Stabil 360 and Pri-D.
I also special ordered 7 small wood baskets of apples, I think half pecks or whatever. Taking them down to NC to hand out some good PA apples next week.
Taking one basket to my old primary doctor, who discovered my cancer, and another basket to my old oncologist who I can thank for being here today.
all those apples in car should smell nice.
be safe and be well. One day at a time.
