68°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 93° today. Chance for rain on Sunday has increased to 60% now. We sure could use it here.
No mowing last night. It was still 95° when I got home from work, and I'd had enough of that heat for this week. I'll probably just mow the front yard early Saturday morning before it gets too hot.
In lieu of sweating outside, I instead put in some cool time in the studio last night.
Kyle, we're hopeful that the fed involvement will prevent the city prosecutor from following her normal procedure of refusing to charge and releasing criminals so she can spend all her time and effort beating down the morale of the police. Man, don't get me started ...

Admitedly, I've never heard of St. Swithin's Day until now, Randy. As this is one of our milder and more typical summer days here, though, I'm all for the concept.
I noticed yesterday that nearby adjacent Madison County has started their oil and chip renewal on some of the country roads near us, check. I'll assume that our county will be right behind them with our roads. They seem to resurface ours every three or four years. Not a fan of the stuff either when it's fresh, but I certainly understand why they use it, and it's fine in the long run.
