Waited late to take Whipper on her trail walk. The temps just won’t cool off in the evening. It looks and feels scorching, brutally hot.

Can anyone down under post a cold pic.
I'll see what I can do as I had a heavy frost this morning... -2.3C! I don't get snow in the NE of Tassie although the higher elevations do. Ben Lomond has opened it's alpine skiing facility early this season.

The wind has abated and the current temp is 10C with clear sky.

Received a morning phone call to let me know that I'd missed 2 political signs waaaaay down South, so that's what I'll get up to tomorrow. Usually I'd enjoy a nice 'road trip' but the price of petrol really takes the edge off of it.

Take care all.

Good evening all. 75ºF for the start mostly clear, light breeze. Light to moderate wind, mostly clear sky and high temp was 100ºF, HI 111ºF. Chapel to start day then made hot cereal for breakfast. Pretty much conserved energy after that, did get nap in. Could not talk myself into doing chain maintenance, was hot in garage.
Scaredy thanks for shoulder update, they are slow to heal. Condolences for the loss of a furry friend.

Didn't do a whole lot today. Just too darn hot. I noticed that when outside, the heat is making my cough worse. I think just too dry and hot---- humidity is only about 10%.

I did get the bird feeders filled and the hummingbird feeders cleaned and refilled. Tinkered around with another RC, should be ready to fly again.
Then just played with Max a little.

The 2nd youngest GS birthday is tomorrow, so helped the wifey gather up / prep for having the party here. We (I) got him a small RC helicopter. He's gotta learn sometime.... (gives me an excuse too!)

It's now almost 10 pm and the temp is 74°..... more like the August temps.
Usually it's down around 60° by now. I guess the A/C is gonna work some OT!

RS, that's a lot of squash and pumpkins!
Yes it is.

Gave one of everything to the neighbor/friend from up the street this evening.

That's like around less 15 plants ... that I now don't have to plant ... ;)

Have some feelers out to others as well, will see if I get any more takers.

66F and partly cloudy @ 01:00, heading down to ... 66F ...

Menards trip went about par for the course.

When I did the recounting of it this evening, I had The Woman laughing so hard she couldn't catch her breath and was almost to the point of choking. She actually had to get up and walk out of the room for 5 minutes.

Had me going pretty good as well.

And I hadn't even gotten to the best part of the story yet.

Upside to the trip was that I was upgraded from a medium to a large iced coffee at Dunkin' at no charge ... (y)

I was looking at the OS 120FS the last couple of days wondering if I should grab one. I use to use nothing but OS engines.
Not sure Lesley would appreciate it after spending nearly two grand on her CPAP and accessories a couple of days ago.
Should I take a chance and beg forgiveness if she finds out?
I have a cheap source of nitro which helps nowadays.

Wings are easy and fun to fly. We used to have Combat in the club with about 8 of us flying wings and trying to knock each other out of the sky. Wings rarely get badly damaged unless a prop chops them up. (which does happen) I always seemed to emerge unscathed but took a few out. It was hard keeping track of your own plane as they were mostly all the same model. That made it more fun.

Stop looking at your temperature and get on the correct side of the road :)
If I think about it tomorrow I will post our temps. On second thoughts here is our local forecast. Winter Solstice next Tuesday.
Can't take a pic in the car unless I download from my dashcam. $1000 fine if we even have a phone touching part of our body or if we can see the screen while driving. They have phone and seatbelt cameras doing their best to add to their coffers nowadays. Cameras could be anywhere at anytime.
