Good Morning
It’s 22 and going into the 40’s with clear skies.
Yesterday started with breakfast with my retired lawyer / professor friend. After that some chores and a trip to get welding gas. Traded in a 20 for an 80 cu ft CO2 / argon mix. The bottle upgrade was more than I expected, it cost me $260 to get out of there. I prefer to own bottles rather than rent them, I hate recurring costs, and my usage is very sporadic. Next stop was Staples for a toner cartridge for an HP laserjet. I couldn’t get a single, had to buy a pack of 2. Turning out to be an expensive morning, but I got through the rest of the day without spending any more.
Emily seems to be stabilizing, she still stumbles and occasionally sits unexpectedly, but gets around and is happy.
Today I plan to get to the hangar and make some progress on the little airplane. Other than that, nothing planned.
Drew, sounds like my typical dealer experience. One of the reasons that I end up doing most of my own repairs. I am lucky to have an eccentric, but very competent local mechanic to do tasks that I don’t want to do, but obviously he can’t do the warranty work that a dealer can. In all fairness, noises are one of the hardest things to troubleshoot. Especially if they can’t be predictably reproduced.
