0, new cases.
We only has 24 new covid cases today. Last week we saw wavering totals 200-300 and up to 500 one day the week before. We might have reached the peak last week and we are coming down just as predicted. We should know by Wednesday.
My un-vaxed friend is not doing any better after 2 weeks and antibody infusion. The Ivermectin (ag. grade) did not work at prevention or to lessen the symptoms.

RNG is there anyway you can test the gauges for accuracy?

TwoBit, thanks for explanation.
I grew up outside a town that was at one time 50% gay, and for many that made it
pretty "weird". Thankfully it was also a great opportunity for learning tolerance, which most of us did.
Texas really does have different areas, different people, quite a melting pot.
Different is good, but we can all be good citizens in our own way.
I think most would like to think your statement is true: “Different is good, but we can all be good citizens in our own way.” I remember Austin when it was true. But now the definition of “good” and “good citizens” has been changed by some to the point that getting back to that will be very difficult.

My first try was with a junk drawer gauge that I plumbed up with an air fitting. It registered in agreement with the gauge on the compressor, and with a fancy race car tire gauge. And, as it turns out, with the two gauges that are made to work with water. So I don't think it's a measurement error at this point...

mostly Gas, We are not in lockdown, just NSW and Vic. However, if the infection gets into Qld the situation could change. Cross fingers.

68° right now...high in the mid-80's today...

Audit is going OK so far. One issue, which I'm not going into since it would take way too long to explain (and make sense), arose. It's not particularly applicable to the site I work at, but it is a problem we'll need to help fix (as it affects more than one site). The joys of Quality Management!!

Pallet forks should be delivered today...hope they show up...

Need to pour first cup of coffee. 62° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 89° with lots of sun. Got shop cleaned up and grass mowed. Have a couple LED flood lights to mount and wire in barn today. Then back into house where it is cool.
Fawns have lost most of their spots.

Roy, hope pallet forks show up as promised.

RNG, I call that tunnel vision. Happens to me all the time.

Rich, you on vacation this week?

Buckeye, glad trip taking son to college went well.

MFW, good to hear from you.

DAvid, great Shoph picture.

Everyone stay healthy and safe.

Good Morning All.

good morning all.
Bright sunshine today, what a switch from the last few days when 3.25 inches of rain came down.

busy day, off to have coffee and coffee cake with my 94yo MIL in retirement place in Doylestown, then off to lunch with friends
from church at another local retirement place, Pine Run, where I will be given the church security project.

and then home to mow the lawn which is growing rapidly from all the rain.

Kyle, modern diesel dually should pull that without a problem, likely issue is in hitch. Most good fifth wheel hitches have shock absorbers in them which
absorbs a lot of the forward and aft motion. Without them I've read it can be pretty jerky.

90 and sunny today, with all this moisture around likely a little sticky too

Good morning all. Had a trip to timber yard yesterday and ordered some oak glazing beads for the windows, together with a few sheets of birch ply. That stuff is now so expensive, wouldn't be surprised if delivery truck has armed security guards.

I know air is compressible, but it seems to me it should still "transmit" pressure above an air pocket to the incompressible liquid below
RNG, I think that is true for a small air space, however assuming your gauges are reasonably accurate and there are no leaks in your pipework, then possibly it suggests there is quite a significant amount of air in the pipe, causing the computations for the vertical component of the "weight" of water in the pipework to be way out.

Can you try fully opening the end of the pipe and let it rip for a short while, or alternatively pump water up quickly through the bottom of the pipe until the tank stops bubbling ?

Rowan trees must be one of the most consistent at providing fruit for the birds. They seem especially bountiful this year.

Good Morning
70 with a high over 90 forecast with brilliant sun all day.
Yesterday had bands of heavy showers passing bu throughout the day bringing the total rain to 3”. So it’s pretty squishy out there.

Got some progress made in the shop before I had to head out to the airport. It was interesting getting around the thunderstorms, had to go a bit out of the way, but not a a bad trip overall.

Today, I’m getting ready to head out to Huntington, WV to with there all day and get home after dinner. But that should conclude my work week, hopefully it will dry up enough to mow tomorrow. I’ve got no idea how I ever found the time to work every day!
