Coffee is done brewing. 62° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 87° with lots of sun. Yesterday was a good conserve energy day. Got to get something done today. Need too check to do list.

Roy, I have a problem with 10mm wrenches and sockets.

Buckeye, good concert.

Kyle, they do grow up to fast.

Mostly, yesterday was National Hot Fudge Day. No sure who made these National Days. But I participated yesterday.

Everyone stay safe and healthy.

Good Morning All.

good morning all
rain never came yesterday and today will be dry also and up to 92.
Off to PT and then I'm taking a small bag of my red and white potatoes over to food pantry in Lambertville
as neighbors and friends have been fed, rest to pantry. Then to supermarket and home.

Need to check on butterfly bushes, probably to confirm two have drowned. They were moved to higher ground but some don't look like
they will make it. If so, will go to garden center and see if they have more plants.

Ron, glad you have power, headlines say tens of thousands without power in Michigan due to storms.
My oldest brother's cottage is in Cedarville and next summer I hope to take a trip up there. Originally thought I'd be taking rv but last
year did in that idea. Nice rv campsite right in Cedarville. I had given my brother and his family my Scout 16 footer and weather permitting they
take it out every day on the lake.
looks like they have a nice protected area among the islands to take the small boat out in, and if one zooms in to the right, there is an ore tanker at a dolomite quarry dock.
Long drive to get to top of Michigan, sort of reminds me of driving down Florida, will we ever get there?

When you make that trip. You may find my place/area a good time to stop. 300 miles to Cedarville. Would be great to meet you.

Good morning! 72˚F heading to the upper 90s.

Ranger dash thermometer said 100˚F yesterday when we took Whipper for her evening walk. The street/sidewalks are too hot in the evening for dogs feet so we go drive down the street to the trail head. A mile and a half walk in the 100˚ heat was good enough for us, most of the trail is shaded and the trail is mulched but it still felt like an oven.

May do a mow before noon and cards later. No pressing projects are planed during the dog days of summer, just emergency projects and shortened dog walks.

72 going to 90 and big storms are forecasted this afternoon.

David/Sophie, beautiful table...cool kitchen.

Don, 100 is hot for a walk, especially if not in the shade and breeze most of the time.

BEF, glad concert was great...couldn't find the fiddle player...thought it was an Eric or Don type photo "seek" puzzle... finally saw it on a stand next to the young lady.

Thomas, that's quick work on the roof. You're making me feel guilty since ours has gotten old.

Kyle, smart work on the car...my wife celebrated National Tequila Day, too, by making a margarita. I think most of those "National Days" are just smart work by the various marketing associations. But some can be fun.

We harvested peppers, 3 kinds of squash, snaps, and flowers yesterday...many tomatoes will be ready today and rest of the week. I'll see if I can post a pic from my phone. Tomatillos are doing the best ever this year. I grilled some of the squash, and jalapeno poppers for late lunch...also hot dogs for its National Day, albeit a few days late...didn't have any big carrots to try to grill, only the little snack kind.

I'm getting an error message when trying to access TBN from my phone that the site is down. Weird.

Good Morning.
It’s 70 and going to top 90 today. Looks like no rain until tomorrow.

I really over did it over the weekend, I was exhausted when I went to bed, but slept like a rock.

Saturday morning I did a project out in the hot sun that probably didn’t help my hydration or energy level into the night.
I have a Lynx grill that is about 20 years old, but it’s extremely well built, all heavy gauge stainless, cast bronze burners, the cooking grates are 3/8” stainless rod. Basically it’s built like a tank, actually worth the seemingly ridiculous price. This one has the same piezo igniters as cheap grill would have today, the new versions use a hot surface igniter. I thought about trying to convert it to hot surface, as the Piezo don’t hold up as well as the rest of it, and I’m too cheap to buy a new one just for the igniters. So after perusing the web, and Amazon, I found a battery powered ignition unit that provides a good, hot spark to all three electrodes from a single AA battery that’s easily replaced from the front panel. It works great, how it holds up will be like a glass coffin. Remains to be seen……….

Today the plan is to empty the KubVan and move all the gear upstairs. Fortunately my shop has AC and the van is parked inside it. And the drummer is coming over to help with the heavy stuff. I rigged up a lift with an appliance dolly and a winch to get heavy stuff upstairs, but it’s much faster to carry stuff if it’s manageable.
