72F and clear, heading down to a low of 66F for the overnight.
Went out first thing and picked up rubber hose for dishwasher/disposal from the local hardware store and fixed leaky sink.
Then went up and spread 3 yards of topsoil for neighbor, backfilling around his new building. Still some more to do on that, waiting for him to get back with me on it.
After that I pulled the last of invasive shrubs at the shop and hauled them over to compost/wood lot followed by mowing the upper front.
Then it was dinner time - a couple of Johnsonville Kielbasi links with a mess of zucchini and yellow squash. Tasty.
Followed that with running up to the neighbor's and grabbing another 20 lbs of pork and 6 lbs more chops for friend. We got a pork roast, bacon, sausage (links and patties), a large ham hock and a slice of ham, and chops. Friend said chops were the best he's ever had.
Spent some time shooting the breeze and having a beer with them and one of their friends.
Did more weeding of garden accompanied by a Old Leg Humper from Thirsty Dog Brewing after we got back until it got dark.
Then fed all the fish.
About to go have some of The Woman's homemade zucchini bread and a glass of milk and watch the remainder of the Bucks/Suns game.
Looking forward to the cooler temps tomorrow.
Hope everyone had a great day ...
