Good morning!!!!

34°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 48° today. Expecting some rain this afternoon, and now sounds like we can expect some snow accumulation tomorrow.

The warmer weather has emboldened our pesky mole. He's been making quite the mess in the area between the house and the barn, even venturing into the fenced backyard.

Mostly_, I, too, have noticed a few differences between regular men's multi-vitamins and the 50+ stuff. We actually haven't been able to find the 50+ lately, so I've switched back to the regular ones. Definitely not the same.

Drew, I don't think how careful you are has anything to do with it. If you get your car within 20 feet of any french fries, some will just find a way into those hard-to-clean areas all by themselves. Their infiltration skills are every bit as developed as ... pallets.

Welcome to the GM thread, BX.

MikePA, thanks for pruning. I see another that could use pruning.

This is a great thread, with 125,000 friendly messages. Please don't lock it. It is the last gem on the interwebs....IMO.

Yup, still my favorite place in the internet.

Thanks, MikePA.

Good morning to all! Low was only 40..... due to the heating of the air with some major downslope winds! Had gusts to 55 overnight, continuous winds at 35.

The winds took the wrought iron porch furniture (2 chairs and a table) off the porch and down the steps. Also rolled an empty 40 lb propane tank out into the field! I haven't taken a walk around the place to see if there is any other damage yet, hopefully none is found.... It is supposed to be windy all day with gusts to 45.

I can see my neighbor's run-in for his horse from our backdoor.... looks like the wind did a number on it, half of it is collapsed, looks like the roof is gone....

There were some major winds throughout the Rockies.... 72 mph in Spokane Washington, 125 mph on some peak in Montana, 70 and 80 mph winds in Wyoming and Colorado..... glad we didn't get any of those! Lots of reported damage, power outages, and trees down.

RIP, nice truck! Hope wifey lets you drive it!

Got some shop time accomplished over the last few days, got the next trinket box done for the BIL and shipped out yesterday. Most of all the reorganization is done, good flow for projects and actually acquired more bench space! A few little tweaks here and there still needed.

Need to go get some bloodwork done, a chest X-ray, then some other errands today. Hopefully will get it all done.

Everyone have a great day!

Started at 27, 49 now, 55 later. Loving it.

I have to pick up my statin script later, forgot I’d called it in last week, until I didn’t have one last night.

I had long bed trucks for years when I needed the bed length, but my daily driver was almost always an SUV, I really prefer them to pickups strictly for transportation, and we always had vans for the shop. But after I retired I found dragging a trailer every time I needed to pick up stuff I didn’t want in my SUV, was a real PITA, I bought a crew cab short bed pickup. Not that it matters much, I’ve put 4000 miles on my Ram in the last year.

I’ve got to stop reruns of Price Is Right and get busy, but Bob Barker is very entertaining.

No answer from health department on how they are going to handle the new guidelines that include over 65 to be immediately started alongside of 1a and 1b. They apparently can’t even get the healthcare workers done. It’s very S-L-O-W.

66°F and no rain

Pressure test my water lines and move on. Work area clean up might be appropriate.

Need to do state taxes today

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

My dad’s county announced shots next Friday for 1A and 1b at the fairgrounds. No prior registration, show up and they will hand out a number if you are eligible based on the number of doses they receive. The first time they gave shots to everyone, and caused a major traffic jamb in town. I don’t expect this will go any better.

Nice truck Rip, and happy early Friday.

Still undecided about Ohio trip this weekend, wife said she’s staying home. Lots of acquaintances here now have COVID or might have come in contact. You just don’t know who might have just been exposed.
