64F and cloudy, headed up to a high of around 70F, slight chance of rain ... although the local forecast said it would probably stay south of Route 30 ... so Rich may well get damp.
Filled three bird feeders with sunflower seeds yesterday first thing, need to refill the two nyjer feeders today. Started Water Buffalo filling while I was doing that.
Then mowed down here around the house ... still have one little spot to do and then I can take the MMM off and put the FEL and box blade back on.
Got the last 6 large hosta sets - the ones we got from a friend - planted. There are no dug hostas left to plant at this point ... :thumbsup:
Watered five rhododendron transplants, one lilac, three azaleas, and a number of hostas, including the ones I planted yesterday.
Gathered up most of the garden tools and brought them up to the house.
The Woman is making noises today about wanting to remove the peonies and transplant them to another area ... a fairly big job and I don't really have area prepped at this point to move them to ... (of course
)
Not really sure what's on the agenda for today, plenty of things that need to be finished up though. Might depend on whether any rain ever materializes.
Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe day ... :thumbsup:
