I think the contractor mentioned having issues with the FDNC on the other systems they've installed, and now just disconnect it/them. Something about causing too much confusion for their customers, and too many questions for them to answer...

Strange. As it has FLA roots vs Lithium, not the optimal battery monitor but still very useful and as far as I know the only one that integrates with rest of the system. Once dialed in a user would have almost no need to mess with the settings so it just provides data.

A lot of people use a Trimetric or similar, but they are standalone. I was very pleased when I 1st installed mine in old system as I finally got more usable info.

Here is a screenshot of day before yesterday (last full day due to network outage)

. We drove over to a county that includes part of Shenandoah NP as well as some beautiful rolling hills and farmland. They have a driving tour of homemade barn "quilts" which made for many miles on one lane winding dirt roads, and driving down private lanes (where permission has been granted). Drove up one lane to a house on a mountain with a beautiful viewshed that looked like it came out of the Friday "Wall Street Journal Mansion" section. While there, two paragliders came over us about 100 or so yards up in the air...amazing how long a glide they get with some up currents and ability to glide down into the piedmont farmland. Had a delicious picnic under a famers market shelter and bandstand at the county courthouse complex.

Enjoy your day!

Sounds like a nice drive. Quilt barns popular in Ohio also.

Another long day.
Supposed to have Dr appt tomorrow that I want to cancel. Can’t get them to answer phone. Just got put on hold forever. They send email and text reminders that you can’t answer. This particular Dr office has always been bad to get a hold of.
Eric, nice fish story. Our former scout master was on the cover of a fly fishing magazine once, he does a lot.
I like the jump starter I got at Costco years ago. It has air pump also.
My oldest son is talking of breaking lease and moving back home. I think he’s finding it lonely by himself. He says to save money to buy a place. He comes home every weekend now. Also he now works from home most days.

Poured first cup of coffee. 57 Fー with rain this morning. Heading to 63 Fー with continued rain. WF says 2" of rain. Did not much done in house yesterday. That's OK I can work on it today.
Different type of picture today. My DS shows his Mustang Shelby. He has a made a bunch of stamped door props for club members. His say Shelby Cobra, I offered to help him making part that goes on the door side of prop. I have made a couple bolts so far. But I thought I would ask here if anyone knows what this stud is called and where to buy them. It is .245" diameter X 1" long, Threaded end is 10-24. Head diameter is .420".

Eric, I tried fly fishing one time. I think the pole and line are still up in a tree some where in northern Canada. That fish would make good bait for perch fishing.

Looking, not sure about napping improving heart health. 78 and have not had a heart attack. I do rest in afternoon. But very seldom fall asleep.

Drew, great sky picture.

LS, talked to my GD yesterday who lives WA. They are having similar skies that she showed me on Facetime. Good picture.

David, tomatoes look good.

Everyone be healthy and safe.

Good Morning All.

77F and clear @ 21:00. High reached 88F today. Predicting 90F tomorrow ... which should dry things out a little ...

Picked up order at TSC and Menards, also hauled a 16' garage door to Menards to return for a neighbor.

New seat looks decent ... if not entirely plush. Might require a couple of spacers under the front to get it to tip back enough so I'm not sliding forward. That will probably be "Job No. 1" in the morning. Still need to mow down here around the house.

Another 22 hosta sets planted. These were the bigger ones we dug out at a friend's a week ago. Required the use of an actual shovel (bigger holes) rather than just the drill and the auger. Lots of roots in the area, was tiring ...

Hope everyone had a great day ...
