RNG, not sure why you don’t get battery SOC. Do you have anOutback Flex DC installed? While nit perfect for Lithiums still worthwhile. The FNDC should have been in the prewired load centers.

80F mostly cloudy.

Got all the town run errands done was little surprise back pack blower $5.25 for spark plug but heck of lot better than raking.
When entering hall to vote notice some supporters just rude and they certainly did show social distancing.
TSC must be thinking were going to get a lot snow this year counted 15 new snow blowers by the main door, some models have $150-$200 increase.
Weill think I'll go and finish putting the back pack blower back together, little over 3 weeks away leaves will start to fall.
Not much plan for this evening other than deck time waiting for the wildlife and stars.

Enjoy your evening all.

The FNDCs (there are two of them) are installed, but they're not hooked up to the shunts. They're getting some info from the charge controller on the battery bank, but the nightly reports I requested from Optics only contain zeros for data. Optics reports power out of the array, into the loads, and drawn from the grid, so I've got a rough idea what's happening, but I'd rather have the shunt data, too. Hooking up the shunts is on the contractor's punch list, but with this first PSPS going on, they're busier than ever and I don't anticipate it happening anytime soon. They're not getting their final payment anytime soon, either...

Which booster box do you have? Sounds like a good one.

Funny you should ask about that, Don.

I went shopping for another Battery Saver charger yesterday, and went to their website to see what they were making. While I was there, I learned that they also make a booster, and since I've had such good results from their charger, I decided to get one of those, too. The same 2365-LCD chargers I've been buying are still available, and Google Shopping sent me to JBTools.com for a substantial discount on both of them. FWIW, I ended up with the 5220 Jump Starter. Not cheap, but if it doesn't work when you need it, you didn't get much of a deal.

Glad to hear you have them, but surprised not hooked up. Can only use 1 FNDC per Mate/system. The FNDC will take data from 3 shunts. A - Inverters, B - Charge Controllers, C - Optional - is 1 configuration. Guessing they need to bring 2nd Inverter Neg to Shunt which can be tight.
Surprised the contractor didn’t just leave it in factory configuration, that way you’d be getting the battery SOC/Voltage, just missing the usage of the addition Inverter, maybe CC, but still good data. FNDC not perfect, but best we currently have available.

I think the contractor mentioned having issues with the FDNC on the other systems they've installed, and now just disconnect it/them. Something about causing too much confusion for their customers, and too many questions for them to answer...
