It's Saturday and I hope most of you are sleeping in.
Going to rain all day here, about to start any minute, 75 going up to 82 today
Was going to drive over to Walgreens and pick up a med but decided I'll do that tomorrow when it's not pouring.
Be careful of those high temps today for you Texans.

Mostly, I've read all the Steve Berry books, except, the latest, which is sitting on my desk, waiting. My favorite fiction author...great research and plots.
Spent most of the day at the vet, or driving back and forth twice...did manage to get a hike in at a new to me park over in that county, and BEF, then went to Mission Bar-B-Q...real tasty...10 Army Special Forces men were walking inside as I left...looks like they honor 1st responders and the Military quite well.
Hope Texas cools off a little.

Chores: Dump run, bank (deposit only), get diesel and seafoam (see if it'll clean out the genny).
After that, wifey wants to run to Laconia NH. That's a place (well, not in Laconia) we're looking to retire to, so I'm good with making the run. Mowing is borderline necessary (except for the field...got to finish that), but can wait until tomorrow

I picked up some mission bbq on way home last night also.
Was working from home yesterday, but after a video meeting, decided to go in to test some things before Monday. I had to modify some of my test scripts.
Light rain this morning.
transmission parts for my husqvarna rider not here yet.
My shoulder getting better, can lay in both sides now. Still feel it, but not the sharp pain it was. Haven’t had to sleep in chair for about a week. Lower back been hurting more again. Always something.
Hair cut lady coming to house again to trim us all.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 66° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 87° with chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Got my shopping done. Then stayed out of the heat rest of the day. After today temperatures are suppose to be in the 70's for a few day. Hope to get some outside things done then. No plans for today.

My son is having problems with his OTR truck. Electronic/Data problems. Yesterday I told him to take a screw driver handle and tap on all the connectors he can get at. Got a call back 1/2 hour later. It's running Dad. :thumbsup: Also suggested that he use some Deoxit on connector pins. Kind of hard to do when it is 100+° out. I see this morning he made it from Colorado to Van Horn TX. His problem now is to figure out which tap got truck running with power. :confused2: Using information learned on TBN GM.

After the chores and the drive to Laconia, when we get back, I'm going to try an Irish Whiskey named Connemara. Like some single malt Scotches, this one is supposed to by very peaty (smoky taste)
