And a few more that I have not found a home a home / place for yet. The big silver one actually has a bomb bay that is set up as a slurry bomber, dropping pseudo slurry powder. It can also drop candy or little parachutists. It was being upgraded to 4 brushless motors when it was mothballed.... but will soon be flying again. The A-10 and F14 are my son's, they have twin brushless ducted fans. The F14 has functional swept wings.

Good evening all. 76F for the start, few clouds, light wind. Light wind moderate gusts, partly cloudy sky, and high temp 100F, feels like 112F. Bike ride, 3 of us most of the ride. 52 miles, lunch then nap, then energy conservation.
Covid update: Cooke 87 confirmed cases, 40 active cases, Montague unchanged, Grayson 731 confirmed cases, 46 active cases.
RS Thanks for the info. The Volagi is a very good bike if only it's rider was as good :)
Eric only 10 % of what I save actually gets used. I just don't know which 10% ;)
Drew it is not like they have done a great job of taking care of you. Sounds like you have a plan worked out and will start working the plan
Mike almost like Texas, although we have passed the point where we would normally have had a 100F day
Roy hope you can get haircut in
Billy sorry about not seeing the comet
K5lwq sounds like a lot of work to spend money
Thomas would enjoy some rain about now, none in 10-day forecast
Rich keeping old lawn equipment running is an art.
Don with 100F temps how much do you need?
Randy enjoy your mowing
Ron is that a beaver or a ground hog?
Ted looking forward to R/C pics
RNG when have you not have a target rich environment?
Randy used to have one of those based in St Charles county and would see it flying periodically
David good luck with the reorganization. nice orchid pics
Mike nice progress
Kyle i vote you are at least crown prince of compressors.
prayers for all especially Drew, Kyle's daughter, and the Country
stay safe and healthy

LS...very impressive collection. And the effort to display and store. Are they all your Workmanship? That is a lot of time there.

My very first plane i built was 37 years ago, but this collection started about 25 years ago. Some are prebuilt, like the foam ones, the others built from a box of sticks and balsa wood. Most of the powered gliders took about 20-30 hours to do, the big blue one took me almost 6 months... unknown on the actual hours.

The big blue has a 4 stroke engine, flaps, landing lights, on board starter, and a programmable auto pilot that will pull it out of a dive / spiral and put it to 1 degree of the horizon in < 1 second if you get in trouble. I usually only use it if I get a strong crosswind when landing. The sensitivity can be adjusted in flight via the radio. It is by far, the most enjoyable to fly. Very scale like characteristics.

The day transpired differently that my plan, all good though. Did a few post holes this morning, setting one of the corner fences. Got way too hot, way too fast. Took a cooling off break in the A/C.

Then went over to the neighbors to help him put his canopy back on his tractor.... he is now the proud owner of a BH attachment. Of course, we had to play with that and try it out. Put the "big foot" stabilizer feet on the stabilizers. Four hours later, I figured I better get home.

I was supposed to cook up some Philly Cheesesteaks for dinner, but wifey said she didn't want to wait, postponing those for tomorrow. We decided th get some takeout cheeseburgers and onion rings.

Then remembered I was supposed to get some hobby shack pics.... so here are a few for your viewing pleasure!

Wow, you do have a lot of them. Those shelves and tubs are going to help you store plenty.

Thanks.

I think I am now afflicted with 3 addictions.... tractor stuff, gravel, and now for a second time... R/C airplanes.... I hope it doesn't get as bad as the last time... between me and my 2 sons, we had over 60 planes.... I cannot let it get that bad again

Sophie takes no credit for the orchids, says it’s all God, her task is try not to kill em. But I know she has appreciated your feedback.
