Yes to all the prayers. Condolences for your cousin. 63 is too young.

very depressed this morning, first they insinuated out of here by end of week. Now another 9 days.
Going to be hard to take. I was acing PT, no idea why big delay, feel like I'm in jail
more chemo next week

Drew, hope you can get a straight answer. Are they concerned for your well being if they let you out?

Good morning. It's 71° and very foggy here with 100% humidity. Our high will be near 90° this afternoon. We got a very welcome 1 1/2" of rain yesterday afternoon. T.S. Cristobal is building down in the Bay of Campeche but, present forecasts take it way east of here, this weekend. Doubtful we'll even get any rain from it.

I spent yesterday morning rearranging our VFD storage building as we start receiving some of the materials, for our new VFD Building today. They'll be delivering 35 rolls of 48" and 72" wide R-13 insulation for walls and roof. I hope it's well wrapped.

Dependent on when the truck shows up with insulation rolls, I'll continue with spring pressure washing of porches and patios. Won't be able to get back to pasture cutting for a day or two after yesterday's rain.

Buppies .. Sorry about your cousin.

Drew .. keep on .. keepin' on!

Don .. nice work with your clearing.

Hope everyone has an excellent day.

Prayers for all.

Rick or Don, how can I get my hands on some old fire hose? I need some 2", what do the departments do with it? No big deal if I can't find it. I just need to hook up some 2" discharge hose to my septic so I can work on it.

Good evening all. 72F for the start, partly cloudy, light breeze. Moderate wind today, sky had about 50% cloud cover, and high temp was 94F. Grocery shopping this morning, found everything on list, nap then worked on vacuuming boat, had old wet/dry unit smoke a motor, found the dirt devil handheld. drive belt missing and motor squawking on it, will be in the market for new car boat vacuum. Rigged fly rod lube reel, working better. lubed spinning reel, still squeaks. :confused2:

"The Lancet announced today that it has retracted a highly cited study that suggested hydroxychloroquine may cause more harm than benefit in patients with COVID-19."
Two Journals Retract Studies on HCQ, Heart Disease in COVID-19

So now Hydroxychloroquine is OK in treating Covid19. ? The negative studies did not pass the test. It gets scary when medical and political cross the line. Two more reads.

Thanks for sharing this. My wife read a short piece on it yesterday and just shook her head.

71 going to 87, maybe storms...got a small shower yesterday.

Mostly, cooled off on the zero turn by making my own breeze, plus it was a breezy day.

Thomas, had the same problem with the mouse in the air intake in my wife's old suv. Just can't figure how they got in. At least you found a smooth reward.

David, your garden sounds nice. We're trying corn again this year, too, after a few years of waiting since the last crop was enjoyed by the raccoons instead of us.

Took my backpack sprayer on another poison ivy hunt yesterday. Attacked some new ivy plants I'd noticed in the fields. Then went into a pine woods that I've worked on the last couple of years and was pleased with how things looked. Found what (was left) the vultures had been going in to eat. I lasted 2 hours in the 90+ heat with long pants and shirt sleeves and decided not to push it, and the wind had started to pick up anyway.

Good morning. Definitely no backpack spraying for me today and never in 90 heat - Wng, your are making me feel faint ! Just got back inside, my hat, jacket and leggings are hung up and now dripping water onto the floor, thanks to yet more rain and we are promised a few light showers this afternoon too. Grass is starting to show signs of changing from brown to green. Apart from the little matter of a global pandemic, we may soon be getting back to normal.

UPS finally got around to delivering a package yesterday after 3 previous days of their tracking system saying it would be delivered and then not showing up. It is only a fly fishing line, nothing critical, but very frustrating to each time wait around all day because, unlike most delivery services, they give no indication of estimated time of delivery, it can be anytime "up to 9pm". The tracking system gives no feedback on where the driver is or why things have not arrived. Curious to hear if UPS offer better service in other countries.

Thomas, it must say something about your choice of cigar when mice prefer to chew on an air filter :D

Need to pour fist cup of coffee. 56° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 89° with possibility of a stray thunderstorm. Going to start digging up 2" water line to garden pond waterfall. It has a leak. Probably from a deep freeze a few years ago. Will probably take a few day to get done. Lots of rock to move and dig down 2'.
I think this is a Warbler. It has been going into birdhouse that Sparrows have been in. One trip out it's beak was yellow.

Mostly, one spring was rusted and broken. Other has a wire mounting that has stretched.

Drew, special prayers on the way.

Eric, the only delivery service in my area that show tracking is Amazon Prime. All the others only show out for delivery. Still waiting for 2 packages from USPS. They showed that they should have been delivered last week.

David, good sized garden.

Don, do not know who to believe anymore.

LS, painting pictures?

RNG, hope solar project is getting straighten out.

Everyone be safe and healthy.

Good Morning All.

68 outside this AM, heading to mid 80's. Rain expected. T-Storms never materialized on us yesterday. Did a split after coming over the mountains and went North and South of us.

Finished up all the grass duties before mid-day, the weed whacking was a two gatorade and one water bottle job. Not too bad. Retreated to the push mower in the shade of the house.
Since it is now so "dry", I decided to go for a ride in the tractor. I turned up the tunes and a/c and ventured out back. Did the fence line over the area I bottomed out over a few weeks ago, not mushy now...then kept going, down by the creek, into the woods, around the pasture...an hour or so later, headed back to the house. Man that was fun, no sweat, laughing at the bugs, jamming....awesome. Grabbed a cold one and sat by the pool. Too much work.

I set the game cam up again last night, have a lot of holes showing up...well, sitting in the house....this animal shows up in the driveway.

Yeah...the driveway lights are hitting it just about right....

Grey...no.....white?...White....WHITE? All white? What the heck.

The biggest all White Skunk we have ever seen. Wife got a pic on her cell phone. Me, I was just in awe.

Needless to say, I am hesitant about trapping that one.

Hope all have a good day. Be safe. And hope all with health ailments, get well soon.
